Sorrelkit sat in a corner, watching the kits playing around in the nursery. A few kits fighting caught her eye and she quickly looked away. She hated it when kits, or any cats, fought. It was getting hotter and she had to eve hate her typical thistle corner, leaving it to the sun. She now stayed in the shade of the nursery. It was still hot. It was always hot to her in this clastrophobic camp. She stood up to go out to the camp when she ran into another kit. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I should have been watching where I was going." She mumbled shyly to the other, bigger, kit.

Goldenkit was surprised by something a bit smaller running into his side.

He was fairly young, so the fact that something was moving and even smaller than him... Whoa! That was one tiny kitty! The small kit shyly apologized to him. He looked down with a cocky grin on his face. "Nah! No harm here, bug."

Sorrelkit nodded gently. "If be surprised if I acctually did any damage at all, but apologizing is still a good idea in most cases." She said simply. Her thoughts were spinning in her head. What was this one like? Would it be worth knowing him? What was his name? Was he mean? Was he nice? Was he even worth meeting? Was any cat even worth meeting? All very good questions in her opinion, but She decided to ask the latter because it was the first polite thing that came to mine. "I'm Sorrelkit, what's your name?" Nervousness bit up her spine, but she hid most of it from her voice.

Goldenkit cocked an eyebrow.

Sorrelkit seemed a bit blunt. Well, they say honesty is the best policy, right? At least they seemed nice. Goldenkit was pretty sure he'd be able to figure out Sorrelkit fairly easily. "They call me Goldenkit." He meowed with a cocky smile.

Sorrelkit nodded gently. "That's a nice name." She said quietly then hesitated, deciding not to say anything else.

Goldenkit smirked.

"Well, it is mine, after all." He meowed smugly. He noticed she seemed.... Reluctant to continue their conversation. That was no fun! "Hey. Got a nice name yourself there, Bug."

"Hm?" she asked, having not been paying much attention, her thoughts lost in her own little world. "Why thank you, that is a very nice thing of someone to say." She replied quietly. Her tail flicked to her side subconsciously and she smiled shyly. "Not that I'm the only one with sorrel anyway." she added almost inaudibly.

Goldenkit inwardly wondered when Sorrelkit would catch on that he was calling her 'Bug' instead of her actual given name.

Oh well. He'd get as much usage out of it as he could! Well... Not to say he'd stop if she asked. Heh. "Well, your name will be the only one when you're tall." He meowed, then turned his head. "Don't go telling cats I'm nice, though!"

Sorrelkit shook her head. "One perfect example of why not. Sorrelpatch." She said. She wasn't really sure what the previous statement ment, or if he wasn't just saying she had a pretty name just to be nice. Why would someone. Being nice was only skin deep ussually. Sorrelkit knew this and she took it to another level. She herself was skin deep. She ending up lost back in thoughts.

Sorrelkit seemed to be spacing off, before he could even respond! Rude. "Hey, Bug!" He called, trying to regain her attention. "Don't space out on me, Bug. A little young to be a space cadet, aren'tcha?" He joked. Seriously, he wasn't quite sure what was with Sorrelkit...

Sorrelkit's ears perked up. "Sorry, It's just that I'm not used to talking to others." she said. Goldenkit was calling her bug. Great. She wasn't going to say anything though, it wouldn't change anything.

"Aw, don't worry. You'll get the hang of it! Got all the time in the world, Bug." He meowed, seeming quite cheery.

Sorrelkit shook her head gently. "You defiently are not as shy as me at all." she said. It was true if he was making that kind of point.
