Willowpaw was nearing her end to apprenticeship and on to warrior hood. It had seemed like moons but finally was coming to an end. What really sucked now was that she had no one to talk to. Everyone was either out hunting/patrolling or just randomly doing something in the forest. In Willow's, she had no such thing to do. It was a personal time off kind of day and she purely hated it. Sure a normal cat would say "oh go and roam the woods." But Willow was no normal cat. She wanted to do something that would send chills down her spin.
Willow in mid thought couldn't then walk any more so she padded quickly off to a shady area with moss under it. She plopped down feeling the presence of another by her. Her pale grey fur spiked some what and her pale blue eyes were alert. Hello? Is any one there? She called out softly. Her voice like a fallen angel.

Arêtekit had been laying around camp, not doing much but waiting for her ceremony. She couldn't wait to be an apprentice, oh what fun it would be! She wanted to ask a real-life apprentice what it was really like. She looked around, and after a while her gaze found a cat that looked like an older apprentice, maybe a warrior. She didn't know her name, and decided to go introduce herself. She padded up to the cat and said, "Hello! I'm Ara! What's your name?"

Willowpaw looked to see the apprentice sized can next next her. Nice to meet you Ara. Im Willowpaw. She dipped her pale grey head kindly to younger cat. You look around the size of an apprentice, who's your mentor? She asked kindly in question. She was nearing her end to training and was ready to be a warrior.

"I'm still a kit, I haven't gotten my ceremony yet." she thought for a moment. "Wait, so you're a -paw, so that means you're an apprentice! Who is your mentor?" she questioned.

She nodded then when Ara spoke of being a kit still. "You'll be an apprentice soon." She meowed encouragingly. "My mentor is the deputy, Arrowstrike." She meowed kindly.

Aretekit gasped. "That's so cool!" she said. "The deputy is awesome! He's like one of the biggest cats in the camp. You're so lucky." she said, wishing she could have someone as awesome as the deputy as a mentor. She also wished she could simply just be an apprentice already.

"Well Spiderstar had been appointing himself apprentices. Maybe you'll get him." She meowed in a hoping matter. She herself wanted to be a warrior already.

Arêtekit smiled at the thought. "It would be so cool to be the leader's apprentice! Can you imagine? How much I would learn!" she knew she was rambling, but the idea was just so appealing. Not that the leader would ever want her for an apprentice, but you could always hope, right?

"You never know, maybe he will take you in as an apprentice. You'd learn a lot." She meowed respectfully feeling it being fine that Ara was rambling, a talkative cat was a fun cat!

Arêtepaw had to leave the conversation for a moment, for her apprentice ceremony was finally taking place! She came back, and found Willowpaw once again. She had a big smile on her face. "I'm finally an apprentice!" she said with a child-like laugh. "My mentor is Mothflight, but we haven't started our training yet. I can't wait though!" she said. She was now known as Arêtepaw...and she wouldn't let her clan down.
