Forestkit yawned and stretched. The sun was just beginning to dapple into the nursery, and kits were starting to wake up. As the tom stretched, he felt his paw touch something fluffy. Except it wasn't his mother. The tabby opened one eye, spotting his sister Hollowkit. "Good morning, Hollowkit." He wasn't too friendly in the morning, but he could tolerate his sister.

Hollowkit was grooming her pelt since she had just woken up from a small nap. A smile spread across her face when she spotted, Forestkit her younger brother. The pale ginger she-cat yawned showing tiny white teeth before speaking. "Good morning Forestkit." The she-kit murmured softly. Hollowkit stretched her hind legs before sitting up straight in Hornetstripe's nest. "Do you know where Hornetstripe is." The pale ginger she-cat asked him.

Forestkit stood up and stood a seat, beginning to groom himself. He shook his head at the question. "Out doing warrior duties, I suppose." He murmured, licking his chest fur down. He hadn't seen her in some time, so usually he just assumed she was out hunting and went on with his day. Though maybe that wasn't always the case.

Hollowkit sighed. She had not seen her mother for ages now and the pale ginger tabby was starting to worry. The lithe pale tabby looked around the nursery before fixing her gaze onto Forestkit. "Isn't the nursery just boring. There's nothing to do here that actually entertains you!" Hollowkit muttered

"Well, we won't be here for long." He said, finishing up his grooming and looking over at her. 'It's like Hollowkit, Birchkit and I all have the same opinion about the nursery.' That was interesting. Maybe their parents didn't like it here, either. That would explain why Hornetstripe was gone for awhile.
