@forests Today, Juniperkit decided that she was going to go on an adventure.
It was a perfect day for being outside -- the sun was hidden by a cloud, so it was warm, but not too hot, warriors had just left for the morning patrol (so no one would be around to bother her), and best of all, there seemed to be many lively kittens in the nursery that might be interested in tagging along. So now, all that was left to do was find one.
With all the confidence a kitten her size could muster, Juniperkit trotted to the entrance of the nursery, bushy tail swinging behind her, and announced, "I'm going on a patrol to discover new things in the camp! Who wants to come with me?"

Forestkit was quietly grooming himself near the nursery exit. He liked this spot. It wasn't as stuffy as the rest of the den, and no kits really stopped to play in the entrance, so it wasn't too busy. The tom sighed, setting his paw down in satisfaction once he was fully groomed and looking well.
He watched the nursery through narrowed eyes. He hated it here. It was too loud, and most of his denmates were too annoying. Still, they were fun to watch. Hoping no one would spot him, he settled down and kept his eyes on a clutter of kits.
Forestkit flattened his ears as someone came in and shouted a question. He turned his head, shooting Juniperkit a glare. "Can't you do that by yourself?"
