Birchkit nodded. She hoped that too. The brown and white tabby began to speak. "There might be some apprentices that act like kits." Birchkit meowed not really wanting to share a den with those kind of cats. The brown and white tabby's ears pricked up when her brother asked a question. "Well I like the name Birchfrost but I'm getting a feeling that my name will be Bircheye." Birchkit did not really like the name Bircheye. It would just remind everyone that she was blind.

Birchfrost. That wasn't too bad. "No, I don't think you'll be named Bircheye. Spiderstar's a good namer, I think." Forestkit yawned. 'At least, I'm sure he's smart enough to not name a disabled cat after their diasbility.' His mind went back to the name Bircheye. That would be a good name to tease her with. He made a mental note of it, then turned his eyes back to the nursery.

Birchkit hoped so. She did not want to end up with a name like Bircheye. Or worse she could go to the elders den early and be named Blindeye. The brown and white tabby was worried. "Forestkit, what would you like your warrior name to be?" Birchkit asked head tilting img from one side to another. The brown and white tabby waited for a response.

Forestkit shrugged when the question was bounced back. "I like the name Forestfox, though I'd be fine with anything." He really had chosen that name because of their father. He hadn't met him, but he knew his name was Foxstrike. He yawned. "Any mentors you want?"

Birchkit liked the name Forestfox. It was a cool name "Forestfox is a good name." The blind brown and white tabby meowed softly, curling her fluffy tail around her two front paws. Birchkit's ears pricked up when her brother asked her a question. 'Any mentors you want?' "Well not really. I would not want a strict mentor or a mentor that worries that I'll bump into something."

"I thought so, too." He said quietly, giving his head fluff a shake. Some of his fur was getting into his eyes and it was really bothering him. Forestkit grumbled a little. "Your mentor would be stupid if they were concerned about that."

Birchkit thought about it but then the brown and white tabby slowly nodded. "I guess so." Birchkit murmered. She did not really want to get a stupid mentor. "Do you think being a warrior would be better than being a kit like we are right now?" The brown and white tabby asked. Birchkit thought that warriors got peace and quiet when they slept unlike the kits in the nursery. The other kits were always bouncing around being crazy.

Forestkit shrugged. "I don't know, you'd have to ask a warrior. I would assume so, though." Being a kit was kind of boring. You couldn't help out the clan, you couldn't explore the territory, and you couldn't hunt or fight. All you could really do was sit inside and play games that were far from fun. 'I hope we become apprentices soon.'

Birchkit hoped that they would become apprentices soon. The brown and white tabby could not wait to leave the nursery full of annoying noisy kits. Birchkit then stayed silent. She had no idea what to talk about next. The brown and white tabby sighed. "Have you met any of our siblings yet." Birchkit asked.

"Just you and Hollowkit." He knew they had a younger brother, but he hadn't really bothered to talk to him yet. Maybe tomorrow. "What about you?" Maybe Birchkit had spoken with him.

Birchkit shook her head. She had not met her other siblings yet. The she-cat just wondered what they were like. "No I've only met you." The brown and white tabby meowed before staying silent.
Sorry for the shorter post

He nodded. "Good enough." It seemed like Birchkit had hardly met anyone. He didn't blame her. It must be hard to strike up a conversation without knowing if a cat was facing you or not.

Birchkit did not know what to say next. She was not the type of cat who liked to think of topics to talk about. The brown and white tabby's sightless eyes stared at nothing as she began to speak once more. "Have you met dad yet?"
Want to end the thread soon?
