Ceremonies 6/5

[Robinstar]

(Sorry this is late. I've been busy with finals. Lakepaw & Melodysong, Woollyheart & Dreamwish, @bark)

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather!" Robinstar bellowed from the ledge inside of the barn. Usually, he'd state where to gather, but as they were in a temporary place, he didn't have a name for it. "Lakekit and Woollykit, you are both six moons of age and it is time for you to become apprentices. Melodysong, you will mentor Lakekit. Dreamwish, you will mentor Woollykit."

"Wolfpaw, step forward. You have completed your assessment and it is time for you to become a warrior. You are kind and loyal. By the power of StarClan invested in me, I name you Wolfbark. My the stars guide your path." He nodded his chin at the newly named warrior, before disappearing.

[Lakepaw]

Lakekit was now Lakepaw. Lakepaw, she liked the sound of the name better than Lakekit. Her mother was going to be her mentor. She trotted over to Woollypaw to congratulate him. "Congrats Woollypaw!" The pale gray tabby exclaimed. Eyes shining, Lakepaw trotted over to her mother and mentor, Melodysong. "When do we start training?"

Wolfpaw listened as Robinstar named the new apprentices, happy to hear that Woollypaw was one of them. He trilled a delighted purr before realizing that it was his turn next.

He listened to the leader quietly, pupils growing as he finished up. He whispered a thank you to Robinstar, and from there the young warrior turned towards the clan and tried to see if he could spot any of his friends.

Once the ceremony was over, Wolfbark trotted over to Woollypaw with a big grin. "Congratulations! I bet Dreamwish will be an awesome mentor."

[Icelily]

Icepaw padded over to Wolfbark and smiled. "Congrats Wolfbark. You got a great name, have fun being a warrior!" She smiled getting ready to head off. She still had training tommorow and that was going to be a bore.

Wolfbark purred happily as Icepaw approached him. "Thanks. You'll be one soon. It can't be long!" He tried to give her a head-nuzzle, then turned away as she began to leave. 'Will I even know anyone in the warriors' den?' He wondered with a sigh, gazing around at all of the IceClan warriors. 'I guess it's time to make some new friends.'

[Melodysong]

Melodysong smiled as her new apprentice, Lakepaw, was appointed to her. "Lakepaw, Lakepaw, Lakepaw!" she cheered, and smiled as the cat approached. "Lakepaw, training starts tomorrow, bright and early. I hope to see you then." she told her daughter.
