Natalia was wandering again.
She always.... Seemed to be wandering on her own. Then she always seemed to run into someone. She was beginning to doubt.... That it was a bad thing. Maybe... Trusting others wasn't such a bad thing? Of course, she still wanted to be careful.
But maybe... Sometimes it would be good to take a chance? Maybe... With someone she knew. Like Slate. Or maybe... Someone new. She wasn't sure how comfortable she was with the latter. She could try being nicer in general.... Maybe. She wasn't sure how well that'd work out.
She lifted her gaze from where it'd been trailing the ground. She was surprised to see another cat in front of her. She must've been paying much less attention than she thought she was. She stared, her eyes unblinking.
She couldn't think of a word to say.

With a sweep of her bright yellow eyes, Azrael examined the area in front of her. Being a relatively new member of DeathClan, the youngling was trying to get around with as little contact as possible before she started inserting herself among the other cats.
Muttering under her breath irritably, Azrael poked the skinny pigeon in front of her and considered her surroundings again. The female was a solitary cat at heart, and she thrived in being alone. The female didn't get lonely often, and when she did she always had the skull of her younger brother to talk to.
Murdering a cat did that to you. Jaw parting in a yawn, Azrael glanced up slightly before she clamped her mouth down again and skittered backwards on reflex. The unblinking eyes of the ginger she-cat made Azrael make contact with her own bright yellow. Shifting uncomfortably, Azrael glanced off to the side regardless of the fact that the other cat wasn't speaking.

Natalia noticed the cat in front of her was prodding a pigeon.
She stared. They were.... A little odd. They yawned then seemed to be surprised by Natalia's presence. They seemed to back away nervously.
Her emerald gaze was met with eyes like sunlight. She seemed to be making the other cat uncomfortable. She blinked and averted her gaze once realizing how awkward she was making this interaction.
"Uh... Hi." She meowed lamely, not realizing she was still averting her eyes in order to stop being creepy.

In faint amusement, Azrael watched the other cat avert her emerald gaze. Cocking her head slightly, Azrael leaned forward and sniffed the air delicately. Then she just pinned the ginger she-cat with a vaguely creepy unblinking stare. Shifting her weight, Azrael tilted her head slightly in an effort to look mildly curious.
" ..'Lo. " Azrael murmured quietly, her voice raspy from disuse. Clearing her throat, the dark brown tabby watched the other cat in a faint amusement. It was like watching her little sister all over again. Bright ginger fur, though what looked like different personalities.
" So.. " the she-cat started, feeling slightly awkward. " ..How's it going? "

Natalia started feeling shivers along her neck and she moved her gaze back up to see the tabby before her staring.
Ooookay that was really creepy and making her extremely uncomfortable. Her ears folded back to convey her discomfort. It seemed marginally less disturbing once the darker furred she-cat cocked her head.
"Um. Hi." Natalia replied sounding just the slightest bit uncertain. It sounded like this... Cat whose name she really needed to get... Hadn't talked for a while. She breathed some air in through her nose. Well, they didn't exactly reek of Deathclan's territory. New recruit then, huh? Well, she supposed they wouldn't have to do as much adjusting as some other cats, having just come onto the scene.
She cleared her throat. "It's... Fine. Anyways... I'm Natalia. You?" She meowed, trying to shake off the creepy vibes she was getting, if sounding a bit stiff.

In response to Natalia's second hello, Azrael ripped off the head to the chicken and spat it on the ground next to her. As if she hadn't just ripped the head off of a dead pigeon, Azrael dipped her head to the ginger she-cat and merely lifted her gaze in more of an effort to look sociable.
Inhaling slightly, she recognized the DeathClan scent that practically reeked around the area. Long-time resident, hmm? Blinking at the emerald-eyed feline, her attention was caught when the other she-cat cleared her throat. Relaxing her features, Azrael let a slightly amused smile cross her face.
" Lovely to meet you. " Azrael responded pleasantly, licking one of her claws free of pigeon blood. " I'm Azrael. And.. uh.. lovely place here. Really. "

Natalia only just realized she'd said hello twice.
She was going to say something when Talil violently decapitated her prey and casually tossed it to the side. Her ears flattened against her head, but otherwise her expression was that of neutrality. Nope. She was not going to say a word about how crazy she thought this cat. That was how you didn't forge positive relations.
Natalia nodded in response to Talil's slight smile. The ginger tabby was not really one for smiling if she was honest. "Uh... Yeah. I guess... Welcome to Deathclan." She meowed in response, not letting her voice go in any direction.

Azrael gave Natalia a critical gaze, swiping her tongue over her jaw and swishing her tail around her paws. It became more curious at the other cat's response. It was either how she had casually ripped off the head of a pigeon, or that this cat wasn't very talkative. Shaking out her fur, Azrael gave the pigeon a neutral look before turning her attention to Natalia.
" Thanks. " Azrael replied slightly bluntly. Her bright yellow eyes lit on a nearby tree that looked big enough to have roots that she could den under. Swiping her tongue over her jaw again, Azrael shook off the feeling that her parents were somewhere nearby, lurking.
She never knew why they liked to stalk their third eldest child.

Natalia took a deep breath.
She was fairly sure Talil wasn't too experienced with talking to other cats what with all the creepy staring. The other cats who were fairly good with socialization she'd met never did that much... Staring. Maybe by the end of this interaction Talil would have a sense of how not to creep out everyone in a mile radius.
Talil seemed to stare at her mangled pigeon before focusing onto Natalia. The ginger tabby tilted her head as Talil seemed to be extremely fascinated by a tree. Seriously, what was up with this cat...?
"So. Why'd you come to Deathclan?" She asked. Questions were a safe place to go. Questions kept a conversation going in a good way.

" To stay away from my parents. " Azrael replied automatically. It was kind of fun trying to confuse/creep others out with her weird ways. Ducking her head slightly, Azrael purposefully widened her eyes before jumping to her feet and shaking out her fur. It wasn't wet, so to say, but it itched.
As if someone was watching her. Casting an unsure glance over her shoulder, Azrael shook off the feeling and let out an irritating sigh. She had a sneaking suspicion her parents had sent someone to keep an eye on her. Mentally twitching, Azrael decided to grace Natalia with a somewhat sheepish smile.
" I'm guessing they're going to send someone after me though. "

Natalia was surprised admittedly by the answer.
Her parents had walked out on her... But before she'd loved her parents and her parents loved her. It was... Great. She'd never wanted anything different. But of course, things didn't play out that way.
She stared as Talil suddenly made some weird motions that made little to no sense. The darker furred she-cat looked over her she-cat and gave Natalia a sheepish smile. The ginger tabby's ears folded back uncomfortably.
"... What? That's a little... Creepy." She meowed, started to worry about an entire family of crazy cats coming to Deathclan.

" Tell me about it. " Azrael nodded vigorously. " They haven't been able to leave me alone for months. " the adult she-cat complained lightly. The she-cat took a small bite out of the pigeon, which would have been her meal if Natalia hadn't come into the picture early.
Her long tail swished behind her, and Azrael glanced over her shoulder again as the prickling in her spine began to intensify. " They better not have sent Castiel after me. " she muttered irritably. " Boy can that tom nag. He's like a mother hen, I swear. " she huffed lightly.

Natalia wondered if Talil had a sixth sense for sensing if one of her family members was around.
Though, they did seem rather persistent if they were still following Talil around for months. Clingy much? Talil's family seemed to be the complete opposite of her's.
She stared at Talil. "Would they seriously send someone into Deathclan for the sole purpose of keeping an eye on you?" She asked, somewhat morbidly curious. She would've been horrified if Sunset followed her here for the sole purpose to reminding her of her worthlessness.
