Skykit was so bored here all alone in camp. Her litter ages had both left and her mother was just short of grounding her to the nursery. She was better off in camp though. It was cooler here than in the hot sun. Skykit saw Woollyheart and approached him. "Hi Woolypaw!" She said cheerfully, hiding her boredom. 

[Woollyheart]

Woollypaw meowed at the sound of his name being greeted in a familiar voice. "Hmm? " He continued, "Oh hey, Skykit! What brings you out here?"

Skykit shrugged noncholantly. "I have nothing else to do. I decided to come give you a visit." She said with a grin. "What have you been up to, I haven't seen you since your ceremony."

[Woollyheart]

Woollypaw grinned at Skykit as he spoke, "That was thoughtful of you," He purred, "I've not done much yet. Just hanging around camp as usual. It's not long until you're an apprentice too, right? I think you'd enjoy it"

"Almost." she groaned. "I don't want to be an apprentice. Whoevers my mentor will force me to stay out in that hot sun to train."

Woollypaw made a small purring noise of understanding, begining to speak once again, "Yeah it is pretty warm here but trust me once you get out of the nursery and there's less rules it's quite fun."

Skykit shook her head. "I'd honestly rather have more rules than be put in the sun all day. I consider myself to be a very lucky kit. Imagine those that had to walk from the old camp to here." she shivered.

[Woollyheart]

"Hm." He replied, laying on the floor as he couldn't think of a good response, "Shame on them."

"I can't imagine what it would have been like... You know mom's apprentoce died on the trip." Skykit paused for a month moment, holding back tears. "Mom's mad at me." she said, her tail between her legs.

Woollypaw flattened his ears, "Why's she mad at you? Surely you can't have done anything too bad."

Skykit shook her head. How to explain, how to explain. "Well, I asked her how we got in this stupid heat hole of all places and she overreacted." she said, making it seem simpler than it really was.

[Woollyheart]

"Well that doesn't sound bad. You were just curious. My friend, Wolfbark, told me that they has to leave because a snow monster attacked and we can't go back yet because it's damaged."

"I've overheard why they left, my curiosity is why we came here of all places. Why not just a different area in our territory where I can actually go outside?It's much to hot here." she said, scooting deeper into the shade as she spoke.

"I'm not sure. It could be because here is close so it won't take long to get back. Maybe because we're not disturbing any rival clans here as far as I know." Woollypaw explained, stating hie ideas.
