"Apology accepted." Thornkit stands to his feet and gets off of Talonkit, he sakes off his fur and drops back into a hunter's crouch

A tad bit worried that he may have upset his friend Thornkit breaks his stance and says "You should try to pounce on it." Hoping that that will distract Talonkit from the bellyflop

He laughed a little but crouched down, "as you with great and Powerful ThornStar" he wriggled his hantches and leapt landing on the dead prey. His eyes gleaming as if it had been a real kill he drug it back to Thornkit with a smile and nuged it to him "You eat first"

"Thank you." Thorn kit rips off part of the mouse leaving a little more than he ate for Talonkit and munches on his food.
*munch, chomp* He mutters through mouthfuls "I think I like this better than squirrel"

(Ok not kidding that made me laugh out loud)
Thornkit's flanks stark to shake as he laughs until it hurts. "Well how much more different types can there be?" He swallows the last bit of juicy mouse and cleans his whiskers.

He noticed the other kitten, but nodded "We are getting old aren't we" smiling he looked at the apprentice den. "It's going to be so weird, at least I wont be alone though" he playfully nudged Thorn in the side.
