Acaciapaw could hardly believe it. She was finally an apprentice! The brown and white tabby still wished that her sister was here beside her getting her apprentice name too. But she was not. Acaciapaw trotted over to her mentor, Spottedheart with a big smile spreading across her face
"So when do we start training?"

Looking at his paws in shock Thornkit thought to himself 'Wow, I an't wait to start, but what if my mentor does not like me?' He looks around him at the new apprentices and steps forward and totches noses with his new mentor Dustcloud. Overcoming joy bubbles over and an uncontrollable smile bursts forth. "Can we start soon?" begs Thornpaw

TalonPaw beamed as his mentors name was called. SwiftStrike? He nudged ThornPaw whom too had gained a new name. "Congrats" he laughed, and hurried off to the feline he presumed to be 'swift' |

Goldenpaw's familiar cocky grin made its way onto his face.
Though, he had good reason to be brimming with such positive energy. He was an apprentice now! He predicted lots of fun times in his future! His gaze first moved over to the newly named Crowpaw and winked at his darker furred friend. He wasn't sure who Dustcloud was. He might've spaced out a bit at the end.
Oh well. The warrior would likely approach him soon enough.

Spottedheart touched noses with his new apprentices, "as long as you are loyal and follow the code with your heart, I know you will both be great warriors." He mewed humbly, looking down at them with kind eyes. Hope fluttered in his chest, he was going to make sure that they grew up to be the best warriors they could be for his new clan. "Meet me tomorrow at dawn in the training hollow and don't be late." He added, a slight sternness in his mew.

The fur on Crowpaw's chest pricked in pride as he heard Arrowstrike call his name. He tried not to seem too excited, but the excited flutter of his ears gave away how he was feeling during the ceremony. The tom's ears pricked up when he saw Goldenkit--Goldenpaw now, he corrected--pass by with a wink. He felt himself flush slightly, but grinned back in response before remembering that he had a mentor of his own to find.
The tom-kit hung onto his mentor's words, eager to start learning. He wasn't to sure what to do after Spottedheart was done speaking, and decided to head off towards his new den after an affirmative nod.

Dustcloud felt the tips of his ears tingle and his legs go weak as he heard his new name get called out. Two apprentice as well! he thought, wondering what they were like. Hopefully they didn't think less of him because he didn't have the ability to see. He got to his paws once the ceremony was over, listening carefully to see if either of his apprentices was asking around for him, since he couldn't look for them. He smiled when one of his apprenticed approached him. "Of course we can," the pale brown warrior mewed, glad that this apprentice seemed enthusiastic, "and are you Thornpaw or Goldenpaw?" he added, tipping his head curiously to the side. Wondering where his second apprentice was.

Goldenpaw felt a warm feeling pulse through him as he saw Crowpaw flush and give him a grin in return.
Then Crowpaw went off, likely to find his mentor. Then he recalled a bit of the ceremony he'd admittedly hadn't been paying the best attention to. Wasn't he apprenticed with someone named Thornpaw? He scanned around looking for him.
Thornpaw was speaking to a warrior he assumed was Dustcloud. He made his way over and shot them both a cocky grin. "Really? I'll let it slide, considering this is our first time meeting each other, Dusty. I'm Goldenpaw. No one else like me!"

Smiling in good humor back at Goldenpaw he says "I'm Thornpaw, nice to meet you." Muttering under his breath "I guess"
He steps aside to allow Goldenpaw a chance to talk with Dustcloud.

Dustcloud's ears turned in the direction of the new voice that joined the small group. He mentally documented down Goldenpaw and Thornpaw's voices in his head, with all the cats in the clearing he wasn't able to single out their individual scents, so their voices were all he had to go by right now. "I'm sure there isn't," the blind tom mewed to Goldenpaw with an amused grin, then directed his next statement towards the two in his usual kind, but somewhat timid, tone, "alright you two, why don't you take the rest of the day to settle into your den and meet your new den-mates? Training begins tomorrow."

Goldenpaw shrugged with a smirk.
"Sure, Dusty." He winked at Thornpaw and suddenly took off to the apprentice's den. He didn't even give an explanation for the winking before he'd left.

Ara smiled as she cheered for the newly named apprentices. She cheered especially loud for her brother, now Goldenpaw, because they would finally be able to train together.
