Calm Mornings (O)

[Icypaw]

IcyPaw, padded out from her newish
 home the apprentice den. Eager to
see the world out side. Her blue and
silver hued optics glittered with joy.
The sun was not to far in the sky,
indicating it was still a bit early.
She stilled a small yawn and padded
into her favorite spot. It sported a
smooth stone and shade. Settling down
 she noticed a fellow RockClaner near by
she called out with a bright expression.
"Greetings"

Pantherkit stood up on wobbly legs, shakily making her way out of the nursery. She was still learning to walk, and boy was it hard. 'How do the other kits do this?' She wondered, focusing on her paws and trying to keep them as steady as possible.

The kitten looked around when someone called out a greeting. Her eyes settled on an apprentice-aged cat, and a large smile took up most of her face. "Hey there!" She squeaked, hoping the cat was talking to her.

Icy smiled at the kitten, she seemed
to be having a hard time walking thought
icy found that a bit strange. Sure it wasn't
a walk in the park but by instinct it was simple
to any feline was it not. Oh well. Purring she
stood deciding it would be best for her to walk
to the fellow she-cat. "Hello, I'm IcyPaw.
Whats your name?"

'Icypaw!' So it was an apprentice! She stumbled forward, though soon collapsed with a thump. Coughing, Pantherkit quickly scurried up and tried to get to her clanmate again. She made it a tail-length away from Icypaw before her legs started to wobble again. Not wanting to fall, Pantherkit quickly sat down.

She focused on the cat again, letting out a soft purr. "I like your name, Icypaw! I'm Pantherkit."

She almost jumped as the kit suddenly toppled
over. Thought the feline got to her own shaky
paws before Icy could help she smiled as the
kit sat down, a bit relived. Taking a step closer
and sitting down her self she grinned, "Awe thank
you" she beamed as the kitten seemed to have a liking
for her birth given name. "Thats a very neat name"
she thought about it, a very promising name indeed.
"It's nice to meet you" she purred.

Pantherkit watched her mouth as she spoke. 'Does my mouth move like that when I talk?' She wondered, moving her chin in and out. She shifted her paws, trying to decide what to ask the apprentice. She had too many questions, though she didn't want to bother Icypaw at the same time. "Do you like training? What's the territory like?"

Her eyes widened slightly as the question was presented.
"That I do" she smiled "Training is hard but I do enjoy
 it" she purred and tilted her head, "I guess if I had to
describe it... Big it's very big and wonderful" she smiled
"Sorry I guess it's hard to put into words, I'm sure you'll
love it when your time comes" she smiled.
