After speaking with Pain, Dove knew that this had to be done. The silver tabby leapt onto the infamous boulders that was used to hold clan meetings. If a clan really still existed nowadays.
"Deathclan followers and those who wish to join Deathclan, step forth now!" she cried, loud enough for those around to hear her. She waited a while, watching as a few began to gather, faces familiar, and some not. "From this day forth, I will be creating some changes from within in order to have us grow in numbers and in power."

Jude was lapping water from a puddle, perking his ears when a familiar voice was heard. 'A meeting?' He lifted his head, water dripping from his chin. What could be going on?
He padded over to the clearing, taking a seat and gazing up at the boulders. He listened intently, taking a few glances around. 'Changes?' He wondered if anyone knew what she meant. 'What does she mean, "grow in power"? What's gonna happen?' He shifted his paws uneasily, looking up at Dove expectantly. 'C'mon, keep talking.'

Patch had stopped by to check on Deathclan from her visit to the barn, good timing too, looked like a meeting. The black and white she-cat shrugged and padded over to where Dove and the gathering crowd. She caught a glance at Jude and sat next to him. "Hey."
Her eyes flickered in interest at Dove's words, changes, power? Patch's eyes dulled down, what the heck did she mean? She looked around for Pain, who might have some idea of what might be going on.

Natalia's attention was caught by Dove calling for members of Deathclan.
She spotted Jude over there and.... Ugh. Patch. They'd met briefly and she didn't like Patch all that much. Jude was a different story. She padded over and sat next to Jude, on the opposite side from Patch, of course.
She listened to Dove's words and narrowed her eyes. What did this mean? She'd been skeptical of Dove's leadership due to her attitude.... Most of the time. It seemed like Dove was trying to do something big. What was it?

Pain sat next to patch seems like Dove made the right choice. I suggest that we try and round up a few more adult cats from the barn or possibly within the clans." He said cooly. Pain was smart and he knew how to plan an operation. Being a very gifted fighter certainly helped with that.
"I would also like to suggest bringing back ranks. There should be a need for achievement. Also fear comes from strength and knowing you're enemy is organized." The tom continued ignoring the younhlings.

Dove watched her followers with pride, but also regret of what she was about to say. But she had to in order to bring the success of the once feared Deathclan. They were too soft under her leadership, after all, and that had to change. What if the clan cats were thinking of her kind to be of a joke? They have not raided anyone lately, or not that she was aware, nor were they really causing a havoc amongst one another.
She lowered her ears at Pain's suggestion about rankings, and knew that as much as she hated the whole ranking system that Drought had, something like that would have to return. "Starting today, rankings will be marking each clan member. You are all to start off as peasants once again, and those who earn my respect and their way up will be a part of the elite. And those who have proved themselves by successfully leading a raid or being me a traitor of the clan will be a part of the royalty." The tabby looked at each of the cats, each carrying some potential, one way or another. "Younglings will stay peasants, and will only be able to receive a promotion once they hit adulthood."
"In a few moons, we will claim territory in the plains. There are cats - the Rovers - whether they want to be our allies or not, we will claim some land there. We are going to expand. As Deathclanners, it is our nature to want to fight and declare victory, and that is what we are going to do."

Patch listened to Dove's speech, her dull green eyes shining a bit of interest. Elites, huh? She was old enough to become one, so all she had to do was earn the leaders trust. She glanced at Jude for a second before she made up her mind. She wanted some power, and she would have some sacrifice to get it.
"I... I have some information that might be helpful, if you'd like." She called out quickly. She thought of taking to plains, it might be fun, if she took this situation seriously.

Jude gave Patch a nod, and whispered a hello to Natalia as the two she-cats joined him. He fell quiet again when Dove continued speaking. He listened in interest, surprised by some of her words. He wasn't here during Drought's reign, but the title of peasant sounded really degrading. 'I guess it could make cats more ambitious to get a higher rank.' Luckily he was a youngling, so he didn't have to worry about climbing the ranks yet.
He looked around to see the different reactions, eyes meeting with Patch's. 'Why's she looking at me?' He wondered, a horrified and shocked expression soon settling on his face. "No she doesn't!" He quickly piped up, shooting Patch a glare.

Pain instantly shot the insolent young tom a glare " your only makeing your self look more suspicious. Let her sleek" he hissed.
Pain didn't doubt he would receive a high rank. He genuinely liked dove. And very much respected her. He was aware she was most likely going to give him the rank he would honestly deserve at this point. She should put her trust in him because he would honestly take a during blow for her. She was his leader after all.

'I... I have some information that might be helpful, if you'd like.'
Her attention quickly shifted back to Patch and Jude, for the she-cat called out that she had information. Anything that her followers had to say would be useful, true or not. But then Jude interjected, so she grew curious. Was the information something about the youngling? She knew that he was new to the clan, not knowing of his past before Deathclan. The leader jumped off her post and made her way to the two.
"Tell me what you know, Patch," she cooed, ignoring Jude's crossed look. 'This might even lead to a small fight, which will then make things even more interesting. And that I did warn Jude that he does have to take a stand around here. Even if he doesn't want to fight back, he'll have to in order to learn his place around these parts.'

Patch flinched as Jude called out an argument, she felt rather bad for what she was doing, but she couldn't let that get to her. She was glad that Pain was her side, she faced the Deathclan leader and started explaining.
"Iceclan has suffered from an avalanche, they are weak. They are currently living in the barn with the Rovers, but... Let's just say they dont really have the best relationship. Iceclan might not be leaving for a while. So if we plan on raid or something like that, we might get an upper paw. But I'm not confirming that." Patch said, glancing at Jude before just staring at Pain. "Thanks." She muttered.

Jude rolled his eyes at Pain"s hiss, only flicking his ear in reply. Then Dove began to walk over. He held in a breath, pelt prickling with anticipation. 'What's Patch gonna say?'
Jude's fur settled down when Patch explained. That was not what he was expecting, and he was glad. Of course, he still felt terrible for Riverpaw and didn't like this idea all that much. "She would know, considering she stayed there for a few sunrises and asked an apprentice to protect her." He laughed.

Natalia quietly had whispered a reply back at Jude.
She had silently listened to the conflict rising between Jude and Patch. Why would Jude care about Iceclan...? Natalia knew of it as well. The problem with.... Iceclan. But if she was honest? Attacking Iceclan right now... Didn't really sit well with her. She wasn't going to say it out loud though.... She'd just go with wherever Dove led them all.
As for the system.... Well, she certainly was old enough for a promotion, if just barely. Though, she wasn't positive of where she stood with Dove. Admittedly, this move of Dove did help Natalia gain a more respectful view of the silvery she-cat.
She stayed silent, though. She had nothing to offer that would be accepted.

((Natalia is too young for a promotion))
" no problem Kido" he replied before replying to Jude's remark "you can't gain information if you don't fake your identity" he retorted. He had a few cats here he didn't like Natalia she was a bit stuck up and Jude was an idiot. However he was willing to accept the fact he had to live with them.

Dove listened to Patch with interest. "So we can ally with the Rovers and bring the end and humiliation of Iceclan," she noted. 'Tigerblaze would be surpirised to see Deathclan amongst her clan again.' The tabby flashbacked to her once Iceclan acquaintance, back when Drought sent groups to dictate the clans and she was chosen to watch over the clan in the mountains.
But then Jude also spoke up again, about Patch having an apprentice care for her? Her eyes narrowed back to the she-cat and then smiled, coming up with an idea from Jude's comment. . er attention quickly shifted back to Patch and Jude, for the she-cat called out that she had information. Anything that her followers had to say would be useful, true or not. But then Jude interjected, so she grew curious. Was the information something about the youngling? She knew that he was new to the clan, not knowing of his past before Deathclan. The leader jumped off her post and made her way to the two.
"Since you two seem to know about this, and know of a fellow Iceclanner, I want you to befriend this apprentice. Get to know their clan, grow trust within them if you can. And then we will strike. I think have you two, being two of our youngest, will make the most sense. Learn their ways, their fighting tactics and such if you can, while us back here will learn from your reports and will battle train to prepare." 'And if they both succeed, they're worthy of being a part of the Elite. Once Jude's old enough of course.'
