Amberflash was really concerned.
She'd gone to see Foxclaw and to be perfectly honest, he did not seem to be bursting with signs of health. It screamed less living warrior and more so a half-dead piece of prey left out to rot in the sun.
Okay, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, but Amberflash really was freaking out. He was wincing and he seemed extremely uncomfortable, maybe even in pain. She didn't know... She wasn't a medicine cat!
She bounded over to Foxclaw and prodded his side, but her paw recoiled. Yeah no, he was NOT the right temperature for a cat.
"Foxclaw?!" She cried out, trying to get his attention.

Rainlight was sitting in the nursery with her back turned to the exit. She wanted to give Fawnskip a break, in case she wanted to leave the den or anything. 'I wouldn't want her worrying about the kits right after having a litter. I hope she can relax.' She thought, eyes watching over a group of kittens.
Then a cry was heard. Rainlight hopped to her paws, instantly recognizing both the voice and the name. She spun around and rushed out, looking across the clan until she spotted her two kits. She raced up to Amberflash's side, scanning over Foxclaw with a worried look. "Foxclaw, are you alright?" She bent down, trying to give him a few licks across the head. 'Please be okay.'

"I'm fine! leave me alone" the tom grumbled which was followed with a wince. He would not go to crowing because he might not only have to tell on speck but mainly because he couldn't admit he needed help. he always strived for perfect. this wouldn't do.

Amberflash flashed Rainlight a look of worry.
She was afraid for Foxclaw. "Foxclaw, you're not! You need to go to the medicine cat's!" She didn't care if this was a horrible idea, she grabbed a leg in her jaws and began to try and drag the russet furred warrior to Crowwing.

Rainlight narrowed her eyes. 'That's a lie.' She thought, watching as Amberflash started to pick up his leg. "Be gentle!" She snapped, going for Foxclaw's neck and attempting to lift him by the scruff. 'Where's Grayshade or Honeyfur? Or Crowwing, even? He would know what to do.'

Foxclaw's fur stood on end as he felt his body being lifted " what in cloudclan are you guys doing?!" He yowled struggling and fliping out " I'm fine! Put me down!" He hissed.

sorry, I logged on to respond like five hours ago, but then realized it was my eight month. xDD
Grayshade and Honeyfur were out, for he suggested for them to go on an herb hunting patrol earlier today. Which also meant that the clan was vulnerable to any illness, disease, injury, or anything of the whatsoever pertaining to that. Thankfully, the senior was still well experienced in the field of healing, so having both current medicine cats out was alright. Not like they were expecting any patients today anyways.
There was a commotion in the medicine cats' den and the old cat walked towards, to figure out what was going on. A group of them - Foxclaw, Amberflash, Rainlight. And by the looks of it, Foxclaw was in danger, and the two she-cats were trying to help him, but the tom was resisting. "Enough." he commanded, approaching the three. "Foxclaw, I'd like for you to stay in the den for a few days. Grayshade, Honeyfur, and I will be watching over you." The tom then looked at Rainlight and Amberflash, whispering to them a thanks. "What was going on, if I may ask?"

"I'm being held against my will" the tom spat definitely before weakly lapping at his messy steaming fur.

Amberflash winced at Rainlight's snappish order, and Foxclaw's leg fell from her jaw.
She was about to try and get under Foxclaw so she could carry him on her back, when Crowwing arrived. She sighed in relief, at Crowwing taking charge of the situation. He would help Foxclaw... Hopefully, he'd be able to help even if Foxclaw was being difficult.
"Foxclaw... He's not well." She meowed, worry clear in her voice. "I was trying to uh... Get him to the medicine cat's den." Then she quietly added, muttering "Even if I had to drag him there..."

Rainlight only tightened her grip at Foxclaw's protest. She slowly began making her way inside the medicine cats' den, hoping someone was around.
She gently placed her son down when Crowwing appeared. She sighed in relief at his words. 'Three cats watching over him. That's a comforting thought.' She turned to Amberflash as she answered, frowning at how worried the she-cat sounded. Rainlight leaned closer to give her a few comforting licks, then returned her gaze to Crowwing. "Do you think you can help him?"

Crowwing watched with a worrisome look as Foxclaw began to brush himself. He was well aware of the tom's insomnia, but to lash out at those he loved? He would not take that.
Amberflash took charge in explaining what she was doing, which was effective, though it was against Foxclaw's will. 'But she was his mentor, so it does make sense.' He nodded. "You did the right thing; he wouldn't have come to me willingly anyways, for I was waiting days for his return."
And then to Rainlight. It hurt him a bit to see how much she cared for Foxclaw rather than their own Swankit, but it was for his sake. He understood the consequences when they gave her up. "He's going to have to take poppy seeds," he mewed. "I already collected some before retiring, so I should have a day's worth for him, but I'll have to get more later."
"Foxclaw, I want you to choose a nest of your liking in the den and settle yourself down there, I'll be with you soon."

Amberflash subtly leaned into her mother's touch.
With Foxclaw spitting angry remarks, she needed some sort of positive reinforcement that she was doing things alright. Crowwing helped with that as well, using his words.
She listened silently. She wasn't sure what poppy seeds were meant to do for Foxclaw... But whatever they did she was sure they would help Foxclaw. She cast another worried look at her former apprentice. Would he accept the help? Would he resist the herbs? Well, if necessary she'd shove the herbs into a rabbit and feed him that! No matter what, Foxclaw couldn't deny food.

"I don't believe a nest is necessary because I am fine" he hissed. He wouldn't stand for this he wouldn't let the poor ways he raised his son make him weak. He wouldn't let it break him. He deserved the pain and felt it shouldn't be cured.
Foxclaw lifted his head in authority although it had very little need due to his hight. He the turned in an attempt to leave.

Amberflash stiffened as Foxclaw continued to be difficult.
"Foxclaw!" She cried out, she moved to block Foxclaw's path. "You're not fine! You need to rest!" She meowed desperately. "You're going to run yourself into the ground if you keep going like this!"
