cedarkit was bored, and she had already breezed through most of the traditional nursery games she played with other kits or by herself. she huffed in irritation. "hmph! i'm gonna make my own game then. and it's gonna be called..." her mint eyes looked around, and cedarkit grinned mischievously at an unsuspecting target—a tail. "chase ! that! tail!" the tabby pounced, aiming for her new plaything.

First of all, Lilykit was in a bad mood. The reason? She had barely gotten any sleep the night before due to insomnia. Second, she was absolutely exhausted. Third.. well.. she just wanted to be left alone. Was that too much to ask of other cats? Especially den-mates? She'd be approached and asked 'D'you want to play?' and the she-cat would have to politely refuse, stating that she was tired.

The dark gray she-cat jumped as claws hit her tail. Already irritated, Lilykit whirled around with an enraged hiss. " Don't do that! " she growled furiously.

the moment her little paws landed on an equally little tail, cedarkit knew she probably shouldn't have done that. "don't do that!" an irritated she-kit bit at her, and the tabby female clumsily scurried off of her tail. she was laughing, but she ducked her head and said, "sorry! i was inventing a new game, but i guess it's not as fun if you're not me, hehe. i'm cedarkit!"

Despite her bad mood, Lilykit felt her irritation fade slightly as the younger kit laughed, but ducked her head slightly. " S'fine. " the dark gray she-cat allowed reluctantly. " I've been stewing all day. I shouldn't have taken it out on you. " the older kit sighed and glanced up at the sky as if trying to say, "What am I going to do here?"

the tabby shrugged. "no biggie," she dismissed with a sweet smile. "i don't like dwelling on things anyway. they're not very fun." cedarkit wrinkled her nose to show her distaste, but it quickly crumbled into another happy grin. "what's been bothering ya? i mean, if you wanna talk about it. or we can play! whatever you want."
