Ghost purred as he scratched at the spiky collar around his neck. It was a pretty average day, although a little wet from rain yesterday. Ghost liked the rain, he liked the feeling of it hitting his thin pelt, making it smooth and shiny.

The young tom began to walk down the street, towards another house. He had no idea whose house this was... But he went to go and sit in the front garden because he always asked and was very polite. Totally not being sarcastic.

As he began to groom himself in the unknown garden, he heard a noise and looked behind himself. Another cat, a male to be precise with ginger fur and bright eyes.

"Hey."

Thomas was admittedly surprised by the dark furred tom who suddenly made himself at home in his garden.

He was clearly another kittypet, evidenced by the spiky collar. It wasn't as if Thomas minded. He was admittedly unused to have more than a small den to call his. So yes, he wasn't upset by the strange male entering his garden.

Though, he couldn't imagine why he'd be visiting now. To Thomas, rain made life difficult. A way of thinking from back before he was a kittypet. When prey and hunting was imperative for a good life.

Then finally, the male who had for some reason started grooming himself noticed Thomas. The strange tom gave a greeting.

"... Hello."

[Ghost]

"I'm not intruding on anything am I?" He asked, tiltin his head a little to the left, "I didn't realise there was another cat living here." He stated truthfully, offering a small smile.

He moved into a more comfortable posiition and purred quietly, "The name's Ghost. And you are?"

Thomas shook his head.

"No. You're not intruding." He meowed. "But yes. I live here." He confirmed. He didn't smile back. He didn't smile a lot to be perfectly honest.

"My name is Thomas." He cocked his head. He could understand a bit why the guy was named Ghost.

[Ghost]

Ghost purred, content. "Nice to meet you, Thomas. You lived here long? I don't think I've seen you around before." He asked simply, blinking his eyes.

Thomas shrugged.

"I've been here a while... But not that long." He meowed. He was still stumbling across new cats that dwelled in Twolegplace.

[Ghost]

"Ah. I've been here my entire life." the black tom purred, "Wre you born a house cat? "

Thomas shook his head.

So... Ghost was born amongst the Twolegs. "I was born in the wild."

[Ghost]

Ghost nodded in response, "That sounds cool. My grandad was a wild cat. My dad used to tell me stories about him."

Thomas shrugged.

"I suppose. I like the stability of being a house cat." He meowed.

[Ghost]

"Really? I find it boring." He continued, "I want to be a wild cat some day. But I don't think I'd be able to leave Jackie like that. Not after she's cared for me my whole life."

Thomas sighed.

"Well... It can be tough out in the wild." He didn't say that he didn't want to go back to being a wild cat, largely because of his housefolk.

[Ghost]

"Yeah, but I can hunt and fight and stuff. Surely it cant be that hard."

Thomas sighed.

"Even if you can hunt perfectly well, it won't help if there's just nothing to hunt." He meowed. "Leaf-bare is hard."

[Ghost]

"But will there not be other cats to help? I'm pretty sure all these clans are more than one cat."
