Sky was glad he didn't seem too offended by what she said, taking what he said into consideration. She silently admitted he was right, it probably seemed as though she was incapable of making her own den and there for was forced to sleep on the ground. " I guess your right. Maybe I could use a little help." She almost growled out the last part, hating the feeling of being incompetent to find her own petty shelter.
She forced a small smile, thankful for the fact that he genuinely wanted to help her but not willing to admit it. She may be prideful but it doesn't mean she's stupid, when she really needed help she would eventually confide in someone. She didn't know why he would stick his neck out to help her though, he seemed busy enough but she decided not to question the nature of his kindness, instead accepting it.

He curled his tail over his paws. "Well if you need help, I'll be there to lend a paw. My den's in the usual den area, a little closer to the river." Jude flicked his tail lightly against his paws. He wanted to gain as much trust as he could from this cat.
He noticed her smile. He made sure to remember it, as he could tell it wouldn't be too common for it to appear again. Kind of like Natalia's. Of course, he'd been lucky enough to catch more of the ginger tabby's smiles. They were nice. "So, Sky, where are you from?"

Sky nodded, making sure to keep his den area in mind. "Thats kind of a tough question to answer." She briefly decided to give him the main points.
"Um I was a kittypet for awhile before my owners left me. I wandered for a long time and was kind of everywhere until settling here." She decided to leave Out the biggest part of her life with her Father.
She had began trusting this Tom, but not that much."where were you from before Deathclan? Or were you always here?"

Jude listened intently, finding it interesting to hear that she had been a kittypet. 'She couldn't have gone blind at that time. Twolegs pamper their kittypets too much.' He thought, assuming that the scars had appeared once she'd left.
He twitched his whiskers, trying to find the words when she asked the same question back. "I've just been around. Here and there. You know how it is." He didn't like remembering those times. They were way, way too lonely.

It was obvious he didn't want to indulge in his past, she didn't mind seeing as though she was the same. "Any family?" She could only hope it wasn't too deep of a question, she wasn't looking to push his buttons.
She slowly stood, uncertainly walking towards his scent, deciding to actually sit near him now that she was comfortable. She quickly felt the temperature change as she joined him under the shade, careful not to sit too close.

"I've got a brother. You?" His thoughts drifted over to Riverpaw. Before meeting up with him again, the only thing he could remember about him was his scent and pelt color. 'I'm sure Sky's closer with her family members.'
He shuffled over to the side when she walked over, wanting to give her a comfortable amount of space. He felt a purr start to rise in his throat, delighted that she had joined him. The shade felt much nicer, anyway.

" It's... kind of complicated." Sky muttered, careful not to say too much. She didn't want to talk about her Father, she didn't even know if he was alive anyway. A flash of pain shot through her as she remembered him, that was the last thing she had ever saw, his wicked smile... Shaking her head she let out a sigh, pushing the faded memory to the back of her mind.
She was relived by the coolness of the shade, grateful to get out of the sun for awhile and relax. Her stomach growled and she flattened her ears in embarrassment, hunting had been hard since she was in an unknown terrain and couldn't see where she was going. " Do you wanna hunt?" She changed the subject to something less personal, trying to keep the conversation light.

Jude didn't ask what she meant by that. 'I wonder if any of them live in DeathClan.' Maybe he could get some information that way. He gave her a nod, forgetting that she couldn't see him.
He looked at her when her stomach growled. He opened his mouth to suggest a hunt, but it looked like she beat him to it. "Sure." He wasn't too great at hunting, though he assumed that Sky wouldn't be, either. He stood up and started walking away. "Tell me if you smell anything." 'I wonder if her ability to smell is heightened. That could really help us out.'

Sky looked in his general direction when she was met with silence, realizing he probably made a gesture without realizing she wouldn't see it. She didn't mind though, it happened all the time.
Realizing he stood she quickly got to her feet, slowly following him in hopes not to trip over anything. Though if she followed in his footsteps she would be fine. After a few moments of silence she parted her maw, drawing in the scent of rabbit.
" Over there!" She whisper-yelled, careful not to startle it. She wasn't exactly sure where it was located so she could only hope he had been able to spot it. Sky didn't think there would be many rabbits here considering the marshy areas, they must of been located further towards the barn where IceClan had made camp.
" Go behind it, I can scare it towards you." It seemed like a reasonable plan considering she would make lots of noise anyway, might as well put it to use.

Jude walked along silently, stopping in his tracks at Sky's call. He sniffed the air, catching the same scent of rabbit. Rabbits were fun to catch. It took a lot of effort, but the satisfaction of finally gripping the hare's body was too good for words.
"Alright. Ready when you are." He whispered back, going straight for a few badger-lengths before turning and curving behind the hare. He crouched some fox-lengths away from it, ready to break out into a chase if need be.

Sky slowly crept forward, her paws itching to give chase. The unsuspecting cottontail swayed, pulling at a large leaf and Sky lifted her tail and flicked it, giving him the signal she was about to give chase.
Leaping forward with a yowl she swiped a paw at the hare, well knowing she would miss and it would sprint away. She continued to give chase, driving it towards Jude's scent.

Jude watched Sky creep behind it. He slowly stood up straight, fur prickling in anticipation. Noticing her tail-flick, he readied himself for a chase.
And the hare took off. The tabby raced behind it, crashing through bushes and brambles. Running was the one thing he was good at, so this couldn't be too hard. Soon enough he could almost feel the prey's back legs kicking his whiskers. Jude leaped at it, easily pinning it to the ground and delivering the killing bite.
He picked it up and carried it back to Sky. "Nice one." He muffled, dropping it at her paws.

Sky waited, ears following him as she listened to the thumping of paws, obviously there was a chase. Sky smiled as she smelled blood, well knowing he had taken down the prey.
" You too." She smiled at the compliment, gingerly sniffing the dead hare before taking out a small chunk from its delicate flesh. She pushed it towards him with her paw, sitting down and curling her tail around her small mitts." Your fast." She complimented, she herself was built for speed but it had always been difficult for her to catch rabbits, before she was blind that is.
She had finally been able to build an image of him. She assumed he stood taller then her considering his voice sounded from above her, not below. He probably had long legs considering his speed and probably didn't have a huge amount of muscle It was rare to see a strong and fast cat. Although she couldn't be sure of any of these things she decided to stick with it.

Jude purred at her response, leaning down and ripping off a small piece when she nudged it to him. He pushed it back, then held the piece he'd ripped off between his paws. He settled down and started munching on it, grinning at the compliment. "Thanks! You are, too. I wouldn't have been able to catch it if you hadn't driven it towards me." 'I can't imagine how she did that without sight. That's amazing.' He thought in admiration, pausing before going back to his meal. 'I wonder if she was born that way.' It would've been worse in his opinion to be born with sight and go blind. Then you'd know how much you're missing out on. Swallowing a bite of his prey, he tipped his head and focused on Sky. "So do you like hunting, then, or are you more of a fighter?" He asked, hoping to start a conversation.

Sky smiled politely, a rare occurrence for her. She ripped off its leg so she wouldn't have to constantly fetch it back, shoving the rest to Jude. She then contemplated whether to lay down or not. She was nervous about letting her guard down but she felt as though they were getting along pretty well. Sky hesitantly flopped down, rather ungracefully at that, and curled her paws around the severed leg.
" That's the easy part." Sky laughed, as it was pretty easy to make lots of noise and yowl like an idiot rather then actually chasing it for the kill. Sky tilted her head thoughtfully at his question, taking another bite of the leg. " Neither.. I mean, I don't like either. I'd say I'm better at hunting though, its a lot easier when the thing you're up against isn't trying to kill you. What about you?" She tilted her head, continuing to focus on her meal.
