|| Sky ||
Jude sat by himself in the shade of a tree. He had just gotten back from IceClan's temporary home, and it felt good to be back in DeathClan. He knew he had to cherish it, especially since he was planning to go back to the barn the next day. The tabby sighed, beginning to groom his paw. He didn't look up when the scent of another cat came near.

Sky stumbled around, probably looking like a complete idiot. She had only recently joined Deathclan and was still not used to its rough terrain, who said being blind was easy? She stiffened as a strong scent of another cat entered her nostrils, flattening her ears back against her head. She could only hope he was friendly, she was in a very weak position and would most certainly not win a fight. He seemed to ignore her and she approached him, curious to why he smelled of hay. "Hello." She stated simply, sitting down a good few fox-tails away from the stranger. She could only wait for the overused gasp when cats noticed her eyes, or better to say, lack of eyes.

"Hello." Jude gave his paw a few more licks before setting it down. He looked up at the cat, quickly noticing the lack of eyes. He didn't say or do anything about it. He'd met a blind cat before, and they weren't exactly the nicest. He wasn't sure if all blind cats were that way, but he wanted to be cautious.
The tabby smiled, even though he knew she couldn't see him. "Hey." She looked pretty young, though he wasn't sure how new she was. He wasn't keeping track of DeathClan cats while he was at the barn, so he wouldn't know.

Sky tilted her head in confusion in the direction where his smell was the strongest. Did he even notice? She was surprised their were no judgemental comments, not even an awkward silence. She quickly grew irritated as all she got was a 'hey'. Maybe he wasn't much of a talker? Trying to stay friendly she perked her ears up, staying cautious. " My names Sky, I'm new around here." It was almost impossible to tell his age without seeing him but she didn't think he was younger then her, his voice wasn't extremely high or low so it was hard to sort him.

'Sky.' That was familiar. It reminded him of a certain kit he'd just met. He could tell that she was a little cautious, so he tried to make his voice sound as friendly as possible. Maybe this blind cat wouldn't be as bad as the last.
"Nice to meet you, Sky. I'm Jude." So she was new. 'I hope she'll do okay here. She'd be an easy target.' He frowned, glancing around to see if anyone was near. 'There could be someone waiting to attack her right now.'

'Jude' It was an odd name, although everyone in Deathclan seemed to have strange names. He seemed friendly enough, she was still wary though. With such a huge disadvantage she always had to be on her toes. This was the first cat she had spoken to since her arrival, not all of them seemed to want conversation. Keeping it light she smiled politely, she had started off well with this cat and it had put her in a good mood. " I'm surprised your willing to have a conversation with me, most would run off at their first glance of these ugly scars." Okay, not so light. She quickly regretted her decision to mention such a big weakness, no matter how obvious, and quickly flattened her ears again.

Jude tipped his head to the side, surprised by her words. He thought it would be a sensitive subject to bring up, but apparently not. "They don't define you, they're just marks. I don't mind." If anything, it made her more interesting. He wondered what had happened.
The tabby's smile reappeared. He felt like he had to keep it up, because maybe the cat in front of him could sense it. He wasn't sure how, but he felt like disabled cats had a better sense of vibrations. So, he tried to remain calm and positive.

It was almost amusing how friendly he was. She couldn't tell if it was forced or not but if she could see him she was almost positive he would look happy, calm. She was surprised by his answer, she could feel his gaze burning into her pelt so obviously he wasn't lying when he said it didn't bother him.
Deciding to change the subject she tilted her head curiously. " I didn't know there was a barn in Deathclan territory." She was sure he had been in one, he smelled like hay and mice. She also noticed another scent on him, a different, strong cat scent. She decided not to ask, careful not to over step her boundaries.

Jude blinked, taking a look down at himself. Why would she all of a sudden ask that? He didn't think he smelled like the barn, though maybe he was just getting used to the scent. 'Goodness, I hope not.' He looked back at her and shook his head. "There isn't one."
He paused, realizing that she would need an explanation for the smell. "IceClan is staying in a barn, though. I'm trying to gain their trust." He wondered what she would think of that, especially since it sounded like she wasn't around for the meeting.

She tilted her head in confusion, why would he want to gain their trust? " Oh....Are we trying to take over their clan? Or... do you.. like someone from there?" She felt uncomfortable trying to press into his possible love life, but curiosity did indeed kill the cat. It was the only sensible thing, why else would he need their trust? She didn't mind the thought of a battle, it my not seem like it, but she could handle herself in a fight. It may have taken a lot longer for her than most cats but she knew a few of her own tactics for her.. situation that these Iceclanners wouldn't be expecting.
Although, she was hoping it wasn't the latter. She may be new but she didn't think Dove would be too thrilled to hear such news. She relaxed her ears into a lazy, upward position and curled her long tail neatly around her paws. An attack from this tom would be very unlikely and she was willing to bet her life on it.

"Yeah, we're trying to gain more territory." He laughed lightly at her second suggestion. The only IceClan cat he had ties to would be his brother. Other than that, they were more or less strangers.
Jude relaxed once noticing that Sky had done the same. 'I wonder who else she's met.' He wondered what other DeathClanners thought of her. Would they reject her, seeing her as weak? 'Probably not. She is a number, after all.' He yawned, not having anything more to say. Maybe someone would join them.

She crossed out the possibility of him being with someone in IceClan when he chuckled, she could only assume he didn't like them much. She groomed her paw nonchalantly, bringing it up to her face and swiping her ear a couple of times, at a loss for words.
She chuckled as she also yawned, his yawn contagious. She quickly got lost in thought, trying to think of something to say. " Its pretty hard to find a den around here, most cats get pretty snappy when I sleep too close to theirs." She admitted, her back still sore from the last couple of nights from sleeping on the ground.

"It's pretty hard to find a den around here. Most cats get pretty snappy when I sleep too close to theirs." Jude nodded. He remembered having a hard time to find a den when he'd first arrived. 'Where has she been sleeping, then?'
"I could help you make a den, if you'd like." He said simply. Maybe she would want to make it in the same area that Minax's and his own were. Then he'd have three allies in the same area, or at least three acquaintances.

Pride quickly kicked in and she frowned slightly. " I don't need any help, thanks." She stated sourly, quick to reject his offer. Feeling slightly bad for snapping at him she cleared her throat uncomfortably. " Sorry I just... I have to do things on my own around here, I can't look weak, especially with my disadvantage." Sky said honestly, she didn't like the thought of sleeping on the ground again but it was better then having someone else make a den for her.
She shook out her pelt softly, as if dislodging the previous discomfort off. She wondered how long Jude had been here, must have been awhile considering Dove assigned him to gain Iceclan's trust. It was a big responsibility so he must have Dove's respect.

Jude looked a little confused when she snapped at him, shrugging when she continued. "I think that sleeping on the ground is what would make you look weak. Whatever, I guess." Sleeping on the ground couldn't be too comfortable. She would have to make a den one of these days, either with help or without it.
He watched her shake out her fur. It kind of reminded him of Rune, especially since their pelts were similar. 'I wonder how she's doing.' She had seemed pretty happy when he met up with her at her den. 'She's a great builder. Maybe she would want to help Sky.'
