( Sky Mumford and Sons is taking over my life help) Patch had decided to hunt some hawks today, for both Iceclan and revenge. Yeah... She had a grudge against birds. The she-cat hung around the plains area of Deathclan, where trees were rare and birds were plentiful. She walked around the area, ears pricked in the air and scarred tail high. She heard movement from nearby, she ignored it and moved on. Minutes passed and still no stupid birds. "Dang it, why are you birds hiding NOW!"

( I am just going to assume that's a band or something XD)
Sky stalked along the grass hungrily, her stomach growling. Her blindness gave her a huge disadvantage in hunting and she hadn't eaten since she got here.
She tilted her head as the strong whiff of cat caught her attention, lowering her small frame against the grass and stalking forward, careful not to alert her. Hearing her angry shouts she lifted herself up, deciding this she cat wasn't a threat to her.
" If there was any prey, they're long gone now thanks to your shouting." Sky huffed in annoyance, confronting the she-cat. She could only hope she wasnt too disgusted by the long ugly scars replacing her eyes.

(Yep. It has really good songs XD)
Patch froze as she heard another voice, she turned her head and watched a small cat rise from the grass. The she-cat noticed that the other had no eyes, and cocked her head, more curious than fearful. She laughed, red of embarrassment.
"Yeah... Guess so. But, in my defense, hawks attack even if a loud conversation is going on." She huffed, sighing.

"Its a lot easier to get a hawk when you have a mouse." Sky smiled, slowly approaching the she cat, claws dug into the ground encase a sudden attack. From her knowledge she knew that a hawk was more likely to appear if it was hunting, usually it preferred to go after small animals, like, for instance; a mouse.
She decided to help she-cat whether she liked it or not, running back to her previous spot and digging up a mouse she had caught earlier. Trotting back at a slow pace she dropped it on a high rock, almost too high for her to reach without jumping. " If we hide now I can almost guarantee a hawk will see the mouse and go for it." Sky stated confidently. Not waiting for an answer she crouched into the tall grass, almost disappearing completely if it wasn't for her calico fur.
" Oh, heh, I'm Sky by the way."

Patch hissed a little at the thought of a mouse, mostly because she didn't think of it. "A mouse... Okay." She meowed, not responding to the other she-cat's claws. She started walking to catch a mouse, but stopped as she noticed that Sky already caught one.
Patch's green eyes flickered with interest as the eyeless cat set the mouse down on the high rock. An small smile grew upon her face when she already heard the stupid flapping of a hawk's wings. She sat in the tall grass with Sky and replied in a quiet voice, "Patch. Nice name 'ya got." Patch had always had always loved the sky at night, so the name was nice to hear.

Sky smirked at how uncertain she seemed about her idea, already hearing the loud flapping of a hawks wings. She stood slightly taller in a hunters crouch, ready to pounce when the unsuspecting predator, soon to be prey, approached.
" Thanks." Was all Sky mentioned at the she-cat's compliment, more focused on her prey. Hearing the Hawk swoop down she swiveled her ears towards the rock. " Now!" She whisper-yelled, flinging herself at the unsuspecting bird. Landing awkwardly on its back she dug her claws into its side, biting down harshly on its feathery neck. Struggling to hang on as it flapped its wings she only hoped Patch would attack it before it took off with her on it.

Patch's green eyes lit up as she saw the shadow-like form of a huge bird, she felt like she could tear it to pieces and leave it to die alone. But, as Sky started to attack, the she-cat tensed and stood still, fear shooting through her chest. But she ignored it best she could, and after a few long seconds, she ran and leapt.
Hawks were fierce, Patch knew this, even with two cats dangling on the, they fight to the absolute death. Yet, here she was, hanging on the wing of one. Her green eyes shifted to Sky, who was struggling to stay on as well. Patch hung onto its wing, biting into it with full force.

Sky almost fell off as the bird dropped lower, quickly noticing the presence of Patch. Hissing in annoyance at the struggling bird she somehow managed to claw her way near its head, piercing her claws in its neck she dug her fangs into its neck, hearing it squawk in pain.
Tearing her head roughly away from its neck she took out a chunk of tender flesh, accompanied by a mouthful of feathers. Spitting them out she jammed her claws into its wound, twisting them menacingly before it dropped to the ground. Bailing from its limp body before it crushed her she landed neatly on four paws, hearing its body hit the ground.
She had been taught young how to hunt hawks and eagles alike, she was almost surprised she hadn't forgotten all about her brutal training as a kit.

Patch heard Sky's hisses, but didn't react at all, all she could do at the moment was hang on the hawk's wings and not die. She watched as her companion teared the hawk's neck, and she joined in slashing at the wound. She could hear her heart pounding in her ears. Then the fall came.
Patch felt a rush of fear and energy shoot through her chest. Sky had gotta to the ground safely, but since the other she-cat was as graceful as dirt, she crashed into the ground. Blood covered her body as she staggered up, "You okay, Sky?" She asked casually.

(sorry that took so long, my internet broke down)
Sky perked her ears, hearing two thuds instead of one. " Are you?" She asked with a hint of amusement in her voice. She felt the adrenaline drain from her body and she panted, feeling blood trickling down her ear. " Heh, I guess the hawk got me." She lifted a hind leg to it, feeling a nasty hole in it.
" Well that was fun." She smiled, not waiting for Patch's permission as she took a sizeable chunk from the hawks throat. Shaking her fur to rid all the feathers she stepped back, allowing Patch to take her share of the prey.

(No worries, sorry about the internet prob)
Patch snorted, licking her pelt as she stared at Sky. "Yeah, I've had worse." She noticed the torn ear and checked to see if she had a serious cut or something, but there was just a big bash in her shoulder. "The stupid fall got me." She replied.
"But yeah, I guess that was fun, almost being killed again." Patch added, letting Sky eat a chunk out of the hawk, since she mainly killed the demon bird. The she-cat nodded to herself and took a bite out of the hawks neck as well.

" Again huh? How many times have you almost been killed?" She joked, sitting down and curling her tail neatly over her paws. " Yeah, at least the hawk didn't land on you, that happened to me the first time around." Sky chuckled, remembering herself as a kit.
" Lets just hope your a better fighter then a hunter." She snorted in amusement, hoping Patch hadn't taken it as rude. Sky just had a strange sense of humor that usually ended up getting her in trouble.

Patch shrugged, trying to remember. "Okay, I can remember the thing with Nighthowl. We also got, Slate, many hawks, mind-killing with Pain, and some other thing I forgot." She listed casually. She chuckled a little, "And with that, probably a better fighter."

" Aww, come on, that's nothing." Sky boasted. It was strange how such a thing like comparing near death experiences turned out to be a competition. " I almost died at birth, fox attack, badger attack.. multiple badger attacks actually. Loners, hawks, and one time I was so hungry I fought a bear cub.. then the mother came." She chuckled, reliving the gruesome memories. ( - Patch-Are you wanting to continue the thread or end it?)
