Forestpaw padded into camp and tossed a mouse onto the prey heap. He'd been out hunting alone, and had learned that he preferred it. It was much easier to focus. Yawning, he padded to the side of the clearing and began grooming himself. He glanced up every now and then in case someone approached him.

Slowly padding up to the fresh-kill pile he spots a new apprentice who he has not met yet. "Hi there!" he meows "Have we met yet?" He asks before picking out a vole to eat

Forestpaw flattened his ears at the sound of a chipper voice. He looked up from his grooming. "I don't think we have."

[Thornwatcher]

Through his eating he says "Well, I am Thornpaw. I am almost going to be a warrior!" He says with excitement. He angles his ears towards the tom to hear what he has to say

Forestpaw yawned. Why was this cat telling him this? "Good for you."

[Thornwatcher]

A bit put down by the cat's utter and complete ignorance for anything he opens his eyes wide and continues to eat his food hoping the other cat decides to say something

Forestpaw watched the cat eat, deciding not to say anything. Thornpaw seemed more the talkative type, so he assumed that he would be the one to break the silence.

[Thornwatcher]

Thornpaw was annoyed by the silence and he tries to spark conversation. "Umm, what's your favorite food?"

"Newborn kittens." He said this as serious as possible, and he paired it up with a poker face to match. "You?"

[Thornwatcher]

Confused by the straight face but sure it was a joke he says "Bear cubs, I like to swallow them whole" Trying his hardest not to laugh though he was certain a squeak slipped out
