Lace up your shoes Here's how we do Run baby run Don't ever look back They'll tear us apart if you give them the chance Don't sell your heart, don't say we're not meant to be Run baby run, forever we'll be You and me | dogpaw stretched out his legs, his bulky physique forming a languid arch. he heard the crack of bones as the tension was released. the tom sighed in satisfaction—much better. it had been a while since dogpaw had hunted last on his own. most of the time he was made busy by joining border patrols and hunting parties, as many as he could partake in before he found himself collapsing from exhaustion. it certainly meant that his paws were always moving and his mind was muddled with the task. the silence didn't seem so daunting.
but there were days when he needed the silence, needed a chance to sort through the thoughts in his head, observe what was around him. it led him right to the waterfall that stemmed from another, near the iceclan border. the deafening crash of falling water served as the perfect aid to hide his steps from unsuspecting prey coming for a drink. all he needed to do was lay low and wait. |

In the instant, for some bizarre reason, Stormpaw coincidentally rocketed out from behind a rock, faceplanting the ground and rolling toward the water twice, before getting up. The large apprentice doubled in size when her long fur bristled and her tail arched. She stared after the rat that had chased and bit her when she accidently got too close to the nest, her lilac orbs narrowed and scornful. "Fine, be that way then." Her pelt lay flat and she regained her elegant, perfect posture, her maned chest puffed out, her long legs straight and muscular, her back straight and her stomach tucked in below the rib. "Stupid rat, didn't need that rock anyway." Stormpaw sat down and curled her thick banner over her tail. "Rude much."
