RiverPawPatch was getting used to her new surroundings, she had made a nest in the hay and even met a new cat. That still didn't mean she had to love it there. The she-cat sort of missed the cats in Deathclan, mostly Pain. She had avoided him and the territory since the last time she saw him. During her line of thought, Riverpaw caught her eye. She smiled and started walking up to him.

"Hello Patch," he greeted the she-cat in front of him, with a big lop sided grin. He wondered if the the cat before him was getting home sick. He hoped not, sure enough he was home sick, I mean the Iceclan camp was his home. not some barn!

Patch smiled at her friend, mirroring his expression."Hey Riverpaw, how's it been?" She wasn't very homesick at all, in fact, she was happy to be away from Deathclan right now. But she couldn't say the same about the tom, he must be dying to go home.

"So how do you like Jude?" He asked excitedly. His smile hadn't faded. But he looked around looking for his family, he only saw Loners. He sighed before making his smile brighter.

Patch felt a bit of guilt rush through her as Jude was mentioned, not knowing what to say for a moment. Seconds passed and she meowed boldly, "I don't know if he likes me, but I think he's a nice guy and a nice brother, your lucky to have him."

"He can be a little rough around the edges. But he's the only real family I have..." He meowed softly. His ears twitched as he heard a rabbit run past. He sighed as it was out of sight. He knew that he would never become a warrior at this state.

Patch smiled a little, not minding the rabbit run by. "I don't have any family, so I wouldn't know what it feels like. The closest cat to family I ever had was Pain, and well... We're kinda avoiding each other now." She tried to laugh it off. "Sorry, I was rambling."

Patch blushed a bit, nodding slowly. "Thanks Riverpaw." She meowed quickly, at the mention of Pain, she panicked in her head. "Um... I don't know, Pain and I haven't been on the best terms lately, but he did say he would like to meet you. I guess we can make an exception."
