[Hawkkit]

The sun stood up in the wide blue sky of Rockclan,it was hotter than most of the days of Greenleaf.However it wasn't something that Hawkkit had to worry about,after all,he was a short furred tom so hot weather wasn't a problem for him.Besides,the silver tabby had an important misson to focus on:Hunting butterflies.He prepared his best hunting crouch and started to slowly approach the orange flying creature I'll get you this time! He thought with a malicious smile.Hawkkit pounced the butterfly clumsly "Ha!" He exclaimed with a tail flick,showing comtempt on his eyes "I told you that I was going to catch you this tim-!W-woah!".Hawkkit fell on the dusty ground of the clearing and accidentaly hit his head on a rock that was just beside him."Ouch" the striped tom mewed scanning the camp with ice blue eyes,hoping that anyone had seen such embarassing scene.

[Frostbite]

Frostbite had just come back from a hunting patrol. Placing his catch on the pile he had decided to lie down, his eyes watching over the camp. It was busy, as usual. But no one seemed to pay attention to the little scene he had witnessed. The young kit hit his head and Frostbite winced, sympathizing with the little tom. He wasn't overly fond of kits, as they always seemed to get under his paws. However, he couldn't ignore him either. Padding over he cleared his throat, looking at the silver ball of fur carefully. "Are you okay?" he asked him.

"Well,anyone saw that..." He grumbled to himself and sighed in relief.Hawkkit flicked his ears in suprise as the white warrior approached him.Gladly the silver tom kit had fur,if he didn't he would probably be red by now.Hawkkit looked behind him and faked a smile to the unknown cat "Why I wouldn't be fine" He said with a calm expression though his ice blue eyes said something else,embarassment.

[Frostbite]

Frostbite sat back on his haunches and studied him carefully. "You know. When i was your age i remember a friend of mine named Scarnose, he was Scarkit then, daring me to climb onto the tallest boulder in camp right over there." he said, flicking his tail towards it. "So i did. And just when i thought i had made it i fell off it and right into the dirt place! I was filthy and my mother was furious. But worst of all half the camp has seen and then proceeded to chide me." he smiled wistfully. Looking at the kit he smiled. "My point is, it could have always been worse so you're doing just fine kid. I'm Frostbite by the way. Whats your name?"

Hawkkit sat down and listened carefully the warrior, with ice blue eyes filled with interest His story is way more embarassing the silver tabby tom thought,feeling relieved with his own situation now "Dirtplace?Really?You're a true unlucky cat" Hawkkit said with a chuckle "Yeah,I guess you're right." He said nodding,and glanced at the the rock which the white warrior pointed with his tail.

"Me?I'm Hawkkit.Son of Brackensky.You must know her,I mean,she's one of the queens.A silver tabby,like me" Hawkkit mewed analyzing the warrior "Just for curiosity,why are you called Frostbite?The Frost part is really obvious" the tom kit mewed looking at Frostbite's white pelt "But why -bite?All the warrior names have a meaning right?"

Frostbite couldn't help but laugh. Unlucky...yeah...

Tilting his head he thought for a moment. Certainly he was never told why he had been given his name. However he had a few guesses. It wasn't something he really thought about. "Well. I think it's because i'm a good hunter, and we bite our prey you know? But it could also be because when i was an apprentice, and even now i suppose, i have quite a temper at times and have been known to say hurtful things. So the 'bite' may be metaphorical." he meowed.

"I always wanted to be named Frostmoon. After my mother." shaking his head he laid down so he was more or less at eye level with Hawkkit. "If you could pick your warrior name what would you like it to be?"

Hawkkit looked at the sky with a thoughtful look.He never thought about that subject What would my name be...Oh! "Hawkclaw for my strenght!" The silver striped tom kit mewed clawing the air like he was attacking an enemy "Or Hawkflight for my speed!" He said with a quick tail flick,looking at the wide sky with ice blue eyes "I want a name that can be remembered in our clan's history" The tom kit mewed with a smile.Hawkkit had always dreamed about becoming a strong and famous warrior,he wanted to be a hero.Maybe it was just a small kit's dream,maybe he would make it real,just time to tell what will happen with the ambitious Hawkkit.

"Frostbite,Frostbite!You are a warrior right?You must know a lot of battle moves!Could you show me some?" The silver tabby asked with a hint of excitment on his mew "Please?"

[Frostbite]

Frostbite purred in amusement. "Both would be good names. Only Cloverstar will know what it will be though. I'm sure it will be good." Standing up he gave his pelt a good shake and stretched his limbs.

At the mention of battle moves he felt a little...worried? Not quite the right word. But he was still pretty small, and his limbs weren't quite long enough for most battle moves, plus he didn't want him to get hurt. Still, with the pleading look..."Alrght. I can show you something simple." he decided. "We can do a front paw blow, hows that sound?"

A smile started to raise across Hawkkit's face.That was probably the most exciting thing that he would learn since he was born "Alright!" the silver tabby tom mewed with excitment to the white warrior "One step closer from becoming a leader!"

Hawkkit wondered how that movement was.Would he win a battle with it one day?Simple?Yes.But how much it was important? His silvery pelt prickled in excitment while he got lost in his own thoughts.After a few heartbeats with his head in the clouds,he shook his head in an attempt to concentrate Pay attention Hawkkit! the tabby thought,ready to watch for every detail on Frostbite's move

"Alright." he looked around the camp, scanning it for something he could use as a pretend enemy. He could see some old moss balls from the nursery, rather battered and worn. That would work. Padding over he collect all of it and brought it back to Hawkkit and formed it into an almost cat-like shape.

"Now. Pretend that moss is a potential enemy. What you want to do is get close enough that they won't realize whats going on, and then..." He swiped a paw out quickly, bringing his paw down with force. "Its fairly easy, but if your opponent is distracted it will leave them with a nasty bruise."

[Hawkkit]

Hawkkit watched the white warrior shape the moss into something...like a cat?The silver tabby tom had never seen a cat with such good artistic abilities I can't even draw a leaf shape on the ground! He thought flicking his dark gray ears.

The silver tabby tom looked carefully how Frostbite did the move.Everything was fast,but at the same time ,strong.Hawkkit guessed that he needed to be swift and fierce at the same time."I'll try!" He said with excitment flattening his ears and crouching with his belly near the ground.See it Hawkkit!Imagine the warrior. He told himself inside his head,looking at the moss with keen ice blue eyes.Slowly,the silver tabby circled around his target.Suddenly,Hawkkit quickly approached the 'cat's ' back and swiped it,shreding a piece of its ear "Like that?"

[Frostbite]

"Very good. You're a natural!" he purred. It did look a little awkward, but once Hawkkit grew he knew the little tom would be excellent at it. Frostbite purred. "I'm sure your mentor will be proud to train such a strong warrior." he smiled.

"You'll see!I'll be the strongest!" Hawkkit mewed puffing his light gray chest.Talking about mentors,he wondered what kind of mentor would he get.A strong one?A wise one?Who knows,that was something that he had to wait to see "Also...Have you ever been in battle?" Hawkkit asked with curiosity
