Ashkit was out of the nursery today, testing out his little kit feet. He wandered just outside the nursery, his eyes wide and happy.

The small kit blinked and caught the sight of another cat, and happily tried to walk over to them, falling in the process.

[Mosspaw]

Mosskit had been sniffing the fresh-kill pile, wondering why in the world warriors found dead animals so appealing to eat. He scrunched up his nose as he poked a squirrel, ew. Squishy. The young tom much preferred milk. His ears pricked when he heard the sound of someone approaching, and he snapping his head up and spun around to face the sound of approaching paw-steps. He felt himself giggle when he spotted a kitten who had obviously fallen over.

"You okay?" Mosskit mewed, padding over to the other kitten incase they needed help, although his mouth was still pulled into a smile.

Ashkit was lying on the ground, dust covering his pelt as he saw the cat move forwards. He tried his best to scramble up to face him, but ended up back on the ground. He blinked and twitched his ears as the other kit spoke.

"Yeah... I'm okay." Ashkit meowed, smiling back at him. "But can you help me up?"

"Of course!" Mosskit mewed brightly, padding closer to the other kitten and leaning down so he could help him onto his paws, "I'm Mosskit, by the way, what's your name?" the pale gray-and-white kitten asked, tipping his head curiously to the side.

Ashki's grew wider as he was helped up by the other cat, happy to see that they're friendly. "Thanks, I'm Ashkit, nice name you got!" He nodded gleefully. There usually wasn't a time in the world where he wasn't happy.

"Aww, thanks!" Mosskit mewed brightly, his whiskers twitching happily as his green eyes gleamed at the compliment. "Anyway, what're you doing out of the nursery? Anything fun?"

"Your welcome, and I'm just walking around." Ashkit told Mosskit, nodding and smiling. He looked at his paws and chuckled to himself, "But you know where that went." He meowed.

Mosskit chuckled in a good natured manner, "aw, well, how 'bout you stick with me?" he offered, green eyes gleaming hopefully at the prospect of hanging out with the other tom-kit.
