Leopardheart sat near the warrior's den, tail curled around her paws and ears pricked up to listen for the voices of other cats. She licked a paw and drew it between her ears before grooming her toretoiesehell pelt.
Leopardheart looked around before sighing. There was no one in sight. Her stomach grumbled. Should I take a piece of prey to eat. She did not want to take prey before the younger cats. Nah, maybe not.

Dustkit was always wondering around the camp. Usually staying out of the way. Today he wanted to try something. A piece of fresh kill. Ohhh it sounded so good.
The brown tom stood up from his spot under the bushes and swiftly made his way over to the pile. What looks good? A mouse? Ohh or maybe a squirrel! But that's to big. After arguing with himself he settled on having a mouse.
Then his eyes caught a warrior just outside the warriors den. Maybe we should go give her the mouse. She is a warrior after all. Ugh fine. Dust padded over to the warrior and placed the mouse at her paws. Would you care for a meal?

Leopardheart looked at the kit with her amber eyes. A kit offering her a meal. She could not believe it. "No thanks." The tortoiseshell mewed quickly nudging the mouse towards the kit. "You can have it. Thanks anyway." No way she was going to take food from a tiny kitten. She was not selfish.
"Who are you by the way. Im Leopardheart."

"And I'm Sweetpaw!" I piped into the conversation, shooting the kitten and warrior a wide smile. I was back and ready for action! My eyes lowered to the mouse, then back to the two. So that was what the conversation was about --I did hear the word mouse before I sprung up on them. "Hello, I-I hope I'm not being too weird to... talk with you guys." My voice lowered, a little bit of shyness creeping up on me.

Dustkit looked at the mouse that the warrior had pushed back to him. He didn't want to take it if the warrior hadn't eaten. Yeah sure he was young but he had manners, something kits lacked these days. Are... Are you sure? He was about to nudge the mouse back to the she cat when he heard anothe cat approach rather excitedly.
Oh ah Hi. I'm Dustkit. He said, referring to the warriors question as well as replying to the apprentice who had given her own name. Its okay with me if you join our conversation.

Leopardheart nodded when Dustkit asked her if she was sure.
But then she heard another voice. She turned around to see an apprentice. "Greetings." The tortoishell meowed to the apprentice. "Sweetpaw and Dustkit are nice names." Leopardheart murmured softly, looking at the two other cats.

I gave an excited bounce on little paws. "Really? Yay! Thank you, Dustkit!" I purred, really happy to be accepted into the conversation. Maybe we could even be friends! I turned to Leopardheart as she said hello. "Hi! And I like your name, too!" I quickly glanced at the tomkit. "Your's, too!"
