Silverkit tapped a white paw against the ground, waving her silver tail in the wind. Her green eyes observed the night sky above, a bright smile on her muzzle as she did so. The night sky was so cool! She wanted to see that night sky from under the forest trees too! It was cold, yeah, but the dark blue color and the weird white lights sparkling in the dark sky was pretty cool! Both literally and figuratively! The dark silver she-kit padded outside the nursery, shivering slightly, and plopped her hind legs down, staring in wonder at the stars. She didn't know what they were, but the way they shined, she just wanted to join them one day. Glitter like the rest of them.
She was so caught up in the stars she wouldn't be aware of any other kits until they were almost on top of her.
