The cycle begins again (O)

After a confirmation from both kittens, and a name for this new acquaintance, I purr in delight. I haven't really met any new cats yet, so this is my first time playing with a cat that isn't my sibling. Doesn't mean I'm not going to be a weirdo, just means I'm going to try harder not to be one. Yet still, I retaliate to my brother's new nickname for me with a soft white paw shooting out awkwardly toward his ear, aiming to cuff her gently over the head. "Well I guess that makes you...Sunshine!" I grin at my successful shot at irony, choosing to nickname him based on the opposite of his dark fur. I giggle slightly before turning back to his friend.

My tail waves excitedly in the air behind me as I drop into a crouch, wondering curiously who I am to play. "Who am I? For the game I mean." I add the last part as an afterthought, with a playful twinkle in my eyes. I believe wholeheartedly that my crouch is truly getting better. I trill one last purr before lowering my tail and letting it slowly sway from side to side, trying to look semi-hostile.

Onyxkit looks at his sister and says "Sunshine? Is that the best you got? Flurry face is much better if I do say so myself... which I do" He says in a dramatic whiney voice. As she tries to cuff him he holds his head just out of reach of her shorter legs. "Nice try, but I'm taller then you." And as he says it he tries to poke at Flurry.

I look over at Stonekit and say "Stones, what do you think she should play?" I look back at Flurrykit and say "We were sorta just having somebody attack the camp but then we started talking to you"

"Pfft, 'Sunshine'," Stonekit snickers good-naturedly under her breath, flashing Onyxkit a sheepish look, hoping that the tom-kit was offended or embarrassed by her amusement. Talent for naming runs in the family, I guess, she thought with a mental smirk. The tip of her tail quirked thoughtfully as she pondered who Flurrykit could play. "We could all fight each other? Three-way battle," Stonekit's gray eyes narrow playfully, "to the death." She tried to sound as menacing as possible as she uttered her last three words.

(May just fall out of this thread. You guys are welcome to go on without me and pretend she got called over by her mother or something. It's just for timeline's sake, because she's an apprentice now, and I find it awkward going back to a kit thread while she's actually an apprentice. )
