The cycle begins again (O)

[Onyxpaw]

Onyxkit woke up and blinked his colored eyes. He runs a paw down his ear and gets to his feet. Hopping out of his nest he pads over to the center of the nursery. He looks around for any other kits around

[Stonepaw]

Stonekit was sitting boredly in a corner of the nursery, her ears perking up when she heard the sound of another kitten walking around. "'Morning!" she mewed to the other kitten once she had got to her paws and he was within ear-shot.

[Onyxpaw]

Flickimg his ears to show her that he heard Onyxkit pushs himself to his paws. Looking around he spots the black kit and dips his head in greeting. "Do we know each other?" He asks slowly. He tilts his head to the side as he does trying to remember if he knew her

[Stonepaw]

Stonekit glanced the other kitten over before shaking her head, "nope, I don't believe we've been introduced," she dipped her head casually in greeting, "my name's Stonekit." She lazily tipped her head to the side, quirking one of her dark gray ears curiously as she waited for the tom-kit to give his name.

[Onyxpaw]

What will she think when she see's my eyes? He thinks quickly. He closes his eyes and one his blue eye and looks up at her. "Umm... My name's Onyxkit." He says slowly. With a deep breath he looks down again and open his other eye so she can not see his face

[Stonepaw]

Stonekit flicked her ear, thinking that the other kitten was acting a bit strange, before shrugging. "Nice name. Wanna play or something? It does seem like there's anything else interesting going on around here," she glanced over at the quiet, mostly empty den.

[Onyxpaw]

"You seem nice enough he smiles. He takes a breath and opens his left eye, (Looks like the pic) His eye is contrasted compared to the ice blue and he once got teased because of it and he is now self conscious. "What... do you want to play?" He asks slowly

[Stonepaw]

Stonekit quirked a fictional brow as she noticed the other kitten had two different eye colors, I wonder if that's why he was acting a bit strangely? she thought, deciding to ignore his bi-colored eyes in case it was a sensitive subject, although personally she thought it was pretty cool and unique. "I dunno, I'm up for anything, really," she mewed, shrugging, "we could play mossball or Warriors or something? I don't have favorite."

[Onyxpaw]

Stepping back as she looks at him weird he hangs his head.

As she says she would want to play with him he says "Ok, do you want to play warriors?" He looks back up and his eyes open with excitement

"Yeah," the black she-kit nods with a soft smile, "that sounds like fun." She twitched her ear, wondering what name she should choose. She wasn't particularly sure which suffix suited her, and "sky", which was the suffix her adoptive mother, Brackensky, had didn't seem to fit together with her name well. In the end, she decided to go with the first name that came to mind. "I'll be... Stonefrost," she meowed decisively, the fur on her chest pricking proudly at the name.

[Onyxpaw]

Dipping his head he says "I will be... Onyxpelt" He nods firmly as if he was convincing himself. he flicks his paw and says "I will be the evil attackers!" He drops into a very sloppy hunting couch and flings himself at her screeching as he flies through the air

Stonekit quirks a fiction brow, intrigued when Onyxkit--"Onyxpelt", as he had chosen to call himself--chose to play the part of the attackers. She grinned inwardly, but was brought back from her thoughts when the other kitten went on the offensive. She ducked when he lunged, but wasn't quick enough and dug her claws into the floor of the nursery as he muzzle crashed into his chest.

My one golden eye focuses blurrily on the two fuzzy moving shapes. Their hard to see in the morning light, especially with all their tumbling around, but at least this eye can see. Unlike my blue one, which is blind like mama's.

Eventually my little kitten mind processes that not only are the fuzzy mobile shapes kitten's,  but one is my brother. I purr at this realization and bound over to meet him, tail waving in the air. I'm well aware that I'm the youngest kit in the nursery, and I certainly show this fact as I trill a mew of greeting. "Morning Onyx! Who's your friend?"

Unlike Onyxkit, I embrace my bi-colored eyes, though can only Peet at the black she-kit with one. "Hi! I'm Onyxkit's sister, Flurrykit. It's nice to meet you."

It's only then that I realize they were playing again, and I stumble back a step and lower my head in shame. "Sorry. I don't see so well..." I murmur admittedly,  hoping it'll excuse my rudeness. I carry on anyway for good measure. "I really didn't mean to interrupt."

And then my 'bounce back reflex kicks in, and hoping forr some amusement, I grin and trill a purr. "Can I play?"

Surprised by the sloppy duck Onyxkit crashes into Stonekit and flips over and crashes to the ground. He hisses and says "Ouch..." He shakes out his paw and turns his head to look at his little sister. "Hi Flurryface (Ha ha Found a nick name) This is... Stonekit?" his voice raises in a question and he looks over at Stonekit for confirmation.

I could tell my sister was not worried about the color of her eyes, and she happy greets Stonekit but then her face quickly falls and she looks embarrassed, I looks back at her and shake my head "No, you are fine." He says happily.

Onyx looks at Stone and nods slowly, "Sure..."

Stonekit shrugs off the hit quickly, and snaps back, ready to be on the offensive when another kitten shows up. The black she-kit relaxed, but still keeps her guard up in case "Onyxpelt" still goes in for an attack. She noticed the bi-colored eyes right off the bat, and deduces that this new kitten is likely related to Onyxkit; the fur on her chest pricks proudly when her suspicions are confirmed. She nods a greeting to the she-kit, her own gray eyes gleaming curiously. "I'm cool with her playing if you are," he meows to Onyxkit.
