Dewmask Sunny didn't really meet new friends. It just didn't happen. At this point he sort of had Vixenleap, but she didn't seem to be around much. The rest... Are gone. Snowblossom was long gone, Starry left, and he wasn't quite sure where Sunsetshadow had wandered off to.It was lonely when all you had was the hyper aggressive voice screaming in your ears all the time. He folded his ears back and tried to put on a brave face, though it came up as a shy smile tinged with sadness. He moved to sit down to a cat sitting next to the fresh-kill pile."Do you mind if I sit here?"

(if u want to know what I meant, I browse the recent posts. a lot. and i like ur posts.)
Dewmask chewed on a mouse, appreciating the sun spot slightly. She felt warm, she felt back where she belonged. Treeclan. Even her kits, who just came back, were close to apprentice age now... The tan she-cat sniffed the air, finishing her bite of mouse when someone meowed to her upper right about sitting next to her. She nodded, smiling as she faced the direction the voice came from. "Oh, sure! go ahead!" She waited for the other cat to sit down, and sniffed him slightly to get his scent into her head. "The name's Dewmask. How about you?"

((Ahaha thanks ^_^ ))
Sunny was relieved to see the she-cat nod.
He settled down in his spot. Turning to look at her he noticed her eyes seemed to be a bit... Unfocused. Plus she was smelling him. He decided he wouldn't mention it. It was probably not a thing to bug cats about.... After all, he wouldn't want cats regularly bugging him about Moon.
"Uh... W-Well... It's not exactly my name... But I'd really appreciate it if you could call me Sunny." He replied softly.

Dewmask nodded, still smiling. "Sunny? Sounds odd, but hey, dew for a cat that doesn't even look close to water is weird." The tan she-cat leaned back from memorizing Sunny's scent, twitching her ears to listen for other cats. They mostly seemed to be all talking to others, or padding around, probably getting ready to patrol. "Nice to meet you." She mewed, bowing her head with politeness, hoping the other cat could see. She lifted her head back into view, blinking her blind amber eyes for the sheer pleasure of it. "What should we talk about?"
[heh, yeah! Now it's time for stuff and things. with our characters interacting. whoo.]

Sunny smiled lightly.
He was glad Dewmask accepted the somewhat strange nickname. He didn't think Dewmask wasn't that strange a name for the cat sitting before him. She seemed to be a rather polite cat, which compared to Sunny's bumbling and stuttering, was rather graceful. He shrugged uselessly. "A-Ah... I'm not sure..."

Dewmask hummed at the other stuttering cat, and simply smiled. "Well, let's see... you're... around warrior age, I would guess..." Dewmask knew his scent was coming from a bigger concentrated area. She knew two other apprentices, after all, and they were somewhat small, and her kits were approaching the apprentice size... "Are you a warrior? I don't actually know, since I can't see." She mewed, pointing to her blind amber eyes. "If so... uh, what's your favorite part of being a warrior?"

Sunny blinked.
So... It seemed that Dewmask really was blind. At least she outright told him, rather than leaving him to bumble around the topic. He shrugged his shoulders uselessly. "Ah... Yes. I'm a warrior.... I um.... I think I like...." He paused. Memories came back. He shook his head fiercely. ".... I think I like having no chores." He decided on. Hunting brought up memories that only brought him sadness. He didn't like fighting because... Well.... That was Moon's thing. There wasn't much else to being a warrior. Hunt for the clan and fight for the clan.

Dewmask nodded, smile still on her face. "Alright, that's also a good one, I must admit. I like hunting, personally." Even though her previous mate, Paleheart, didn't really like meat, it made her think that her blindness wouldn't get in the way of helping others. Her blindness would definitely get in the way of fighting, that was for sure. The blind cat tapped a claw on the ground, not really sure of what else to say, then leaned down to get another bite of mouse. It was close to being finished, anyway.

Sunny simply nodded.
"That's good." He replied softly. He shuffled his paws nervously. He didn't know what to talk about. He didn't meet new cats often, usually interacting with those he already had a relationship with. Cats like Vixenleap. Dewmask was an... Unknown. He wasn't sure what to say. He didn't know what was right and what was wrong in this situation. Moon was making snide remarks about his ineptitude.

Dewmask didn't hear an answer coming. Or a new topic, in any case. The blind cat finished her mouse, then thought to herself. She looked towards Sunny again, and mewed, "do you have a favorite type of prey?" The tan she-cat smiled, not really knowing what to talk about with fellow warriors, especially one that didn't like to hunt, judging by his hesitant response to her earlier question.

Sunny shrugged.
"No... Not really." He answered. "Do you?" He asked back at Dewmask. He didn't particularly have any preferences in general. He was generally very neutral in most senses of the word. He didn't like picking sides.

Dewmask nodded, thinking on the tastes of many different things. Birds were eh to her, and it was just pretty lucky that her favorite was easy to catch, right? "Mice," She mewed, licking around her muzzle, "I love mice, and they're pretty easy to catch, as well." The tan she-cat sniffed the air, before laying a head on her paws. "This is a good place to relax, to. Warm, probably in a sun spot for now... where do you like to relax, Sunny?"

Sunny remembered....
Starry. She liked climbing up trees and hunting birds. Her hunting techniques had been a bit strange and violent... But it was the way she operated. It was a bit of a bittersweet memory, since she was gone now.
"U-Uh... Relax?" He shrugged. "I think... A nice sunny spot." He agreed.
