pain had been checking the border daily for Maggotscreech . He had to tell him about patch he. Just had to. He walked along the border nervously hoping he didn't run into a patrol. |

Maggotscreech was walking by the border for the first time in what felt like decades. He hadn't actually done anything for ages.
As he was aimlessly walking around, he picked up the f armillary scent of a cat he knew- Pain. He walked a little quicker in the direction of it, eventually stopping in front of the other tom.

Maggotscreech's odd ears both flicked at the shirt statement. "Really now?" He spoke in a low, raspy voice. "So she's no longer in Cloudclan? But is another cat we may or may not need to wipe off the earth?"

"yhea she's this kid named patch but I'm taking care of her i guess" he paused before changing the subject "how are the kids?"

Maggotscreech nodded as a reply, "I'd like to meet this Patch some day."
He then continued, answering Pain's question, "As far as I know, they're fine. I don't see them much."

Maggotscreech sighed and kept his eyes downcast as he replied to wgat Pain had said.
"I've not seen her lately either... I miss her. I miss her a lot- all I've been doing lately is missing people."

The scrawny tabby nodded silently, a frown replacing his usual creepy grin.
He quickly changed the subject, trying to lighten both their spirits a little... The last thing they needed was trying to stop eachothers sobs.
