Hazelkit bo wait paw now! Was putting together a nest of moss and feather. Something she was looking forward to doing for a long time she tucked wildflowers in as well to make it custome. The summer heat beat down on her as she made her out door nest. She had no need for a winter one but it had been raining so bit by bit she brought it into the burrow.

Stormpaw watched as Hazelpaw pushed her nest inside the den.
He'd already made his nest, which he lined with feathers. It was comfortable enough. He was ecstatic to finally be in the apprentice's den. He knew Birdheart meant well... Sort of... But he was happy to have some more independence. He offered up a small smile to his sister. "It's great, isn't it Hazelpaw?"

"I know" she purred before striking a dramatic battle stance and throwing hits at dead air. "I can finally learn to kick some serious butt!" She said full of determination.

Stormpaw purred in amusement.
"I know how you feel." He agreed. He was excited to learn how to fight. How else was he going to be able to defend his siblings properly? He trusted his siblings to be independent, but he also didn't want to be dead weight.

"I'm so so so sooooooooo exited!" She purred bouncing around in circles. Dustpaw was an apprentice now too and her dad was training him! Maybe they would train together? That would be so cool. And now she would be a strong older sister who could break snakekit's legs!

Stormpaw nodded.
He wasn't outwardly showing his excitement like Hazelpaw, but he felt it nonetheless. True, Foxkit was still a kit... But the rest of his siblings were apprentices! Frostedpaw, Hazelpaw, and Amberpaw! This was going to be fantastic, he could feel it. "What are you excited the most for?" He asked.

"I'm most excited about fighting what about you?" She asked. It had to be fighting because the lack of a sense of smell ment her hunting would be awful.

Stormpaw nodded in agreement.
"Definitely fighting." He agreed, though for different reasons than his sister Hazelkit. He wanted to learn to fight so he could protect his siblings. So he could fight alongside them.
