Just thought I'd let you guys know that there's a plugin for proboards that you can use to automatically resize images when someone posts them. Not sure if it'll work for signatures, but hey, it's an easy way to make sure you keep the images within the max posting size of VWW! An admin probably has to do this, but just thought I'd let y'all know UPDATE: doesn't work in signatures, but it will automatically resize everything else! currently trying to find / make one that resizes siggies

thank you for this information! do you know where I can find this plugin? I'm not an admin, but I'll pass the information forward to the rest of the staff once I receive it. c:

No problem! I don't know the amount of powers each staff has, but a staff with admin powers should be able to do this, although it could be only jaimie that can: 1) Click 'admin' 2) Click 'plugins' 3) Click 'plugin library' 4) Under 'filters' enter 'image resize' 5) Click 'Image Resize v1.0.7 by Todge,' it should b the third option down 6) Under 'get plugin' click 'install on forum' 7) You will see a warning saying 'This plugin may not be enabled until the required field "Posted image width" is filled out and saved.' 8) Click the tab 'image settings' 9) Fill out the max height and width (400x600) and you're set! Here's the URL: www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/174 so you can compare to make sure you've got the right one. However, if you just click the link here I'm pretty sure it's a lot more complicated, so I'd recommend just following the directions above There will be a message saying how much your image has been resized, but other than that, it works like a charm! You can also click on the image and view the full size in a new tab. Enjoy!
