TalonFrost had grown used to the new surroundings of the warriors den. Much more accommodating than the apprentices den that was for sure. Glancing up he realized though it was late he wasn't the only one up. A shadow of a cat seemed to be wide awake as well. She looked familiar he remembered a she-cat from his own ceremony. yea this is her...crap what was her name? He couldn't remember and that made him twitch a bit... ugh, what was it. Realizing he was more likely to wake up others than even find out the name he sighed. Standing up he headed out side where he could get a hold of him self. However after having gotten to one of his favorite spots he realized he had been followed out.

Nightfall cocked her head. She was laying in her nest, her tail curled around herself. Her expression as usual was not particularly friendly or hostile. There was a tom who seemed to be still awake. It was a tom she recognized from her ceremony. He seemed to sigh and slip out of the warrior's den. Out of boredom and curiosity, she followed after the lighter furred tom. One her ears flicked absentmindedly. "You're awake."

The first thing she said brought amusement to him. "That I am, as it would seem you are as well" he dipped his head, "Umm I'm TalonFrost" he offer with a grin, Sitting and getting confertble he shifted giving room for her to join him. "How are you adjusting to warriorhood?" he said the first thing popping into his head

Nightfall cocked her head as she thought about her answer. She didn't see any reason to move, so she didn't move closer to the male warrior. "Smoothly." She replied simply, even though she thought warriorhood was a bit dull.

Her answer was straight to the point but not blunt.. He noted she didn't seem as please about it as she had let on. "Well thats good," flicking his tail as she did not move to join him he gave a short sigh. "Oh hey I didn't catch your name." He added with an apolegetic expression

Nightfall's frustration at her boredom showed, albeit ever so slightly, on her face. "Nightfall." She replied concisely. She cocked her head. "What is your opinion of your experience thus far as a warrior??"

He dipped his head. "What a lovely name," he offered with warm grin. He shrugged as the question was returned. "I don't think it will ever live upt to what I thought it was as a kit. But it's not half bad." Shifting a bit renewing his balance. "You have an apprentice?"

Nightfall shrugged. "It's just a name." She did not return Talonfrost's grin. "I don't have an apprentice. I understand the reasoning and the purpose. Though, I do not believe I fit the criteria of a competent mentor." She didn't have the temperament or encouraging personality she imagined you'd need to even deal with younger cats. She cocked her head. "Do you have an apprentice?"

He shrugged. "Everyone has a name, though some are better than others." With another smile that soon faded into a blunt expression. "Well I'm glad you understand and hey it's not for everyone." Flicking his tail he gave a nod. "I do, She is doing quite well as of now."

Nightfall shrugged. "Do you believe you make for a good mentor?" She asked. It was one thing to believe well of someone else, it was another to believe you yourself were doing a good job. She typically did not have such doubts, but she aware of others having the issue.

Nightfall's ear flicked in slight annoyance. She supposed... It would not be too much to share something small... "I have a brother." She stated bluntly. There. A fact about herself.

He gave a smile as she seemed to fight annoyance on his behalf he wanted to laugh but thought better of it. "Well how interesting, is he as handsom as me? Or maybe your best of friends?"

He gave a small puzzled expression of all the things to tell him... interesting. "Well I'm sure he if anything like you is kind. And a good conversationalist."
