Whitejaw

Silentpaw was hanging around the camp today, why? Because her mentor, Hailspirit, was in the nursery today.

The apprentice was shocked to see that the she-cat was having kits, but it wasn't really a bad thing, it just got in the way of training for a day. Silentpaw sighed to herself and wandered near the entrance of the Nursery. "Any of Hailspirit's kits there..?" She meowed awkwardly. Did she sound like a creeper? Oh lord, what if the kits didn't like her?

Whitekit's black ears pricked up at the sound of a voice. The words 'any of Hailspirit's kits there' drew his ears in and he decided to reply. He was one of Hailspirit's kits.

Smiling as he walked up to the larger cat, Whitekit let out a small purr, "I'm Hailspirit's kit," He continued, "I'm Whitekit!"

Silentpaw was pleasantly surprised to see a kit walk up to her, she smiled awkwardly. "Hey... I'm Silentpaw..." She meowed, flattening her ears. Huh, why was a all black kit named Whitekit, she noticed the white jaw and she scolded herself. "How are you in the nursery, do you have siblings?" Last time Silentpaw was in the nursery, it was loud and annoying, she couldn't relax much.

"It's nice to meet you, Silentpaw," Whitekit purred, blinking his piercing blue eyes. "It's okay in the nursery, but it's kind of stuffy and there's too much noise," He continued, "But other than that, it's alright.". He stopped before speaking some more- he was in quite a chatty mood. "I have two siblings. An older brother called Onyxkit and a younger sister called Flurrykit," He purred calmly.

Silentpaw snorted, the nursery never changes, doesn't it? She felt a little bad for the queens. "Huh, glad to hear you have some siblings. Don't want to be the only kit?" She cracked a small smile. "But how have you been, is Hailspirit a good mother? Are you excited for apprenticeship?"

Whitekit shook his head, "No, being an only kit sounds horrible! There wouldn't be enough snuggles at night," He replied, looking at his paws.

"I've been okay and Hailspirit's a great mother! She's fun and loving and stuff like that," He grinned, looking upwards again, "And I can't wait 'till apprenticehood... I'll actually get to do stuff."
