Sketch shook his head from left to right. He hadn't made a den- he didn't realise you had to. Was he wrong by sleeping out in the open every night?
"No..?" He said, voice getting a little higher at the end as if he was confused.

Jude tilted his head. "So you've just been sleeping on the ground?" 'Isn't that cold? And dangerous?' He chuckled. "Suit yourself, I guess." 'What if others are wandering around at night and accidentally trip over him?'

"Yeah, I've just been sleeping on the floor outside..." Sketch admitted, flicking a grey ear. "I didn't realise I was supposed to make a den."

"Well, you don't have to make a den. It's just a lot more comfortable." Jude yawned. "Sleeping outside is just fine, though."

Sketch nodded, a little calmer now. He hadn't done anything wrong.

Sketch smiled a little, "I wanted to stay here because there's a lot of cats and the group looked strong," He continued, "Also I don't have to deal with all that tradition malarkey here."

Jude nodded. "I'd say your parents are right. Some clan cats aren't too bad, though." He said, thoughts going back to Robinheart and Twilightmist. They were pretty cool.

"I guess so," Sketch said. Unlike his parents, his opinion on the clan cats wasn't too strong as he was pretty sure that some were alright, "Yeah, I guess." He said with a flick of the tufted ear, "I just don't really want their beliefs rubbed in my face constantly."
