Honey I'm (p)regnant-Private~Spruceclaw

[Sandstone]

Sandstone smiled as she padded out of the warriors' den feeling the heave of being pregnant. She was almost due, only a few more moons before she would deliver. She still hadn't told Spruceclaw, her own mate, that she was pregnant with his kits. She also was nervous about telling him, this was her second litter, what if he thought she was avoiding her warrior duties. What if he stopped loving her? She felt a tear trickle down her pale ginger cheek and wipped it away quickly as she spotted him. She smiled and trotted as fast as possible towards him and purred.

Hey Spruceclaw! I have big news. She smiled hiding her nervousness. 

[Spruceclaw]

Spruceclaw had found himself near the entrance to the camp, bathing in the warm sunlight of early morning. he wasn't able to sleep for the past few nights and he had began to come out and enjoy the sunlight before it became so hot. this morning it looked as if he'd have company in his warm sunlight bath. "Well hello, my dear. care to join me?" He asked. he looked at her in confusion wondering whaat big news she had for him.

[Sandstone]

Sandstone Purred as she kindly accepted his invitation to joining him in sun bathing. Laying down next to him knowing that he could most likely see how her stomach was much larger then before. She smiled happily her pale ginger pelt grasping at the sun above for warmth. The warmth made the bundling kits inside her kit, making her hold back a grunt of pain. I'm glad I ran into you love. I'm guessing you've noticed I'm carrying more weigth then normal. She Giggled softly at the fact that yes she was fat. I went To the medicine cat a few moons ago and, well she told me I'm pregnant. She Meowed smiling. 

[Spruceclaw]

Sprucelcaw stretched and rolled over letting the warm sunlight reach his now exposed stomach. he purred as she sat down next to him but he continued to role around. it is true spruceclaw wouldve noticed if he hadn't have been so lost in the pleasure of the morning sun. in fact he was dozing in and out of sleep before she began talking. surely she wouldnt mind if he were to drift off for a few minutes. spruceclaw was almost on the verge of sleep wgen she began talking so he only caught bits of it. not enough to piece together a sentence. Suddenly his head snapped up "huh... oh sorry Sandy, i didn't sleep well last night. what'd you say?" he asked drowzily looking at her.

[Sandstone]

Sandstone Giggled and gave her mate a lick on the cheek forgiving him when he appologized for falling asleep. She purred before replying to his question and rested her tail on his stomach nearing some place. Oh Spruceclaw, is that why you were so restless last night? She laid down on her side feeling a little self coucious for a second and then looked at him. She looked at him seriously and replied honestly. Well what I said earlier was...um Honey, I'm pregnant. She blurted her eyes filled with joy as a kick hit her in the stomach. 

[Spruceclaw]

Spruceclaw shivered for a moment despite the warm sun before replying. "I don't know why i can't sleep." He mewed with a yawn at the end. spruceclaw returned her serious gaze for a moment before yawning again.he froze momentarily as her words seemed to hit him in super slow motion. once it registered with him a smile spread across his face. "No way!" He mewed his face full. of delight and shock.

[Sandstone]

Sandstone purred to see him face break out with pimples joy and shock making her pur. She cuddled closer to him drawing her tongue over his cheek letting out a pur of joy. Yep, and I'm so excited! She meowed her eyes filled with excitment as she looked at Spruceclaw. She then thought of a way to solve his sleep problem. I'm no medicine cat but either eat poppy seeds or move your nest closer to mine. She giggled giving him another lick.

"Well have to tell the kids that they'll be older siblings." He mewed happily. He then frowned "my nest is already right next to yours the only way to get closer would be to get in your nest." he mewed a little confused.

[Sandstone]

Sandstone Nodded her head in agreement when her mate spoke of telling their first litter that they'll become older siblings. She wondered what they would think, would they be happy or sad. They'll be thrilled! She purred happily looking at him and then smiling evily. Maybe you should hop in my nest. You'd be a lot warmer. She purred.

[Spruceclaw]

"I'm sure they will." Spruceclaw mewed. he laughed and licked her cheek when he saw her evil smile. "I bet id be plenty warm enough as hot as you are." He newed with a smile.

[Sandstone]

Sandstone Purred when he licked her cheek in reply as she felt another kick. She grunted hoping he wouldn't notice, these kits were becoming out of control in her. They had to eat like 24/7 and they were horrible when in came to night, but she never let that show. Awe, Sprucey. She meowed sweetly licking him back.

Spruceclaw saw her wince and he looked at her a concerned look in his eyes. "Sandy are you alright?" He mewed studying her carefully in concern.

[Sandstone]

Sandstone Smiled and nodded her head signaling she was fine. It's just, pregnancy problems. Her eyes full of happiness and exhaustion.
