Shatter smiled and flicked her tail towards the direction of the place she wanted to show him. She started walking towards it, hoping that Ghost was following. Shatter wanted to show him the stream now since it was close. The calico tabby smiled as she padded over to the stream. "This is the stream. I think it's a very calming place. There's plenty of prey to hunt around here." Shatter mewed before leaning forward to take a sip of the water. 

[Ghost]

Ghost smiled as they approached the stream. The plains were pretty beautiful. There were lots of nice sights, it was definitely prettier than his home in twoleg place.

He purred as he leaned down to get a drink of water from the small stream. "Wanna try catch some fish?" He asked, tilting his head. He hadn't had fish since he was with Ginger and they got some scraps from the market.

Shatter was unsure what to say. She did not even know how to catch a fish. The calico tabby was only taught to hunt rabbits and the creatures that lived near the grassy areas of the plains. She nodded. 

"Sure we could try. I've never really done it before. I only come here to have a sip of water and to relax." The calico tabby meowed.

[Ghost]

"I've caught one fish before, that's it." He purred, looking for a stepping stone to jump on. He jumped onto a stone and stuck his head in the water, searching for a fish to catch.

Shatter took a seat near the edge of the stream before looking back at Ghost. "I wonder how fish tastes like." The calico tabby murmured before copying Ghost and sticking her head in the water. She waited for a fish to swim past her. 'I've never done this before. I don't really know if I know how to do this.

[Ghost]

"It's good, I think you'd like it." Ghost purred, lifting his head out of the water for breath. He probably looked a little silly with a soaking wet head and dry body.

He dunked his head in the water again when he saw a fish near the bottom of the stream. He jumped in and grabbed it in his jaws before rapidly scrambling back onto the stone. Despite being an alright hunter, he was terrible at swimming.

He sunk his teeth deep into the fish, killing it.

Shatter lifted her head and took a breath before staring at the water with amber-yellow eyes. The calico tabby she-cat spotted a fish trying to swim past her. The young calico tabby did not really know what to do. So she quickly tried to scoop up the fish with her paw but it slipped out of her grip. Shatter tried to to catch it before it could fall into the stream again. The calico tabby sunk her teeth into the fish, killing it. Shatter looked at her paws, embarrassed about her messy kill.

[Ghost]

Ghost laughed at Shatter as she tried to catch the fish. She ended up succeeding, but it was a pretty messy catch, which he found amusing. Well at least she kept her pelt dry.

"Nice catch!" Ghost praised, shaking his soaked fur.

Shatter set down the slippery fish. She was happy that she had actually caught it. "Thanks, you did well too." The calico tabby told him. Shatter wanted to try the fish. It looked pretty tasty. The calico tabby leaned down to take a small bite out of the fish. Shatter purred. It actually tasted pretty good. 

[Ghost]

Ghost grinned, proud. He then leaned down to take a bite from the small fish. He wasn't actually sure what type it was, but to him they all tasted about the same. He purred at the delicious taste, happy to eat fresh fish rather than twoleg scraps.

Shatter swallowed the piece she was chewing before speaking "This tastes actually pretty good." The calico tabby commented before leaning down to take another bite. Shatter just could not believe that she liked the taste of slippery fish.

[Ghost]

Ghost purred with a small nod, shaing his pet to try and dry it a little more, "I thought you'd like it." He smiled, "I get ots of it in twoleg place 'cause there's these twolegs ho give us housecats scraps at the market."

Shatter smiled and then swallowed the current piece she was chewing. The calico tabby looked at him with amber-yellow eyes. 'Twoleg's give kittypets fish! I thought they only gave them kittypet slop!' The calico tabby she-cat thought before speaking. "They do?" She meowed. "Market? What's the market?"

[Ghost]

"Yeah, they do," Ghost purred with a small grin, finishing the fish and jumping off the stepping stone he was on, leaping onto the grass, "The market's this place where twolegs go to get stuff," He explained. He thought the place was a little strange, but it was useful when he didn't want slop.

'Why do twolegs need a market to get stuff. What does a market have that is important to a twoleg. The calico tabby thought. "So I've got one more place to show you if you want to see it." Shatter mewed.
