Serenity sat on her own, munching on a mouse she had just caught while staying alert of evey cat in the forrest. She looked up as she heard another cat nearby, and listened, hoping that they wouldn't approach her. With her luck though, there was no chance at that

Natalia squinted suspiciously from afar at a new cat. It was definitely someone new to Deathclan. They had a bright pelt that was practically impossible to be stealthy in. She cursed as caused the bush she was hiding behind to rustle. She saw the mystery cat look up. Well... Looks like she was noticed. Though, she still didn't call out.

Serenity stayed alert, though she didn't say a thing. After a while she shifted positions, spotting the orange pelt that was mostly hidden by the bush. She laid down in a position that sshe could easily could jump out of and pretended not to notice that the bush had holes.

[Natalia]

Natalia wasn't stupid. She knew she had been noticed. She sighed and moved out from behind the bush. She wasn't approaching, but she was in plain sight now.

Serenity sighed, knowing she would have to talk to the other cat now if any odds were as normal. She pushed herself up and gave one of her flawless fake smiles.

[Natalia]

Natalia folded her ears back. This encounter was going to be painfully awkward and drawn out, wasn't it? She didn't like that smile. It didn't feel real and probably wasn't. Aside from her smile, there were plenty of ways to find this cat's real emotions. Her body language didn't add up. She sighed. "I'm Natalia." She offered first.

"Serenity." she said, dropping the smile and making sure to watch Natalia's every move. "Nice to meet you." she added politely.

[Natalia]

Natalia noticed Serenity relaxing her expression. Honestly? She preferred it when cats weren't trying to put on a smile to make themselves more likable. Cats either liked you or they didn't. It was just that simple. She inclined her head. "Honestly I have no idea if I'm going to curse or enjoy our acquaintanceship."

Serentity simply stared at Natalia for a while. "Enjoy it, don't, all on you." she finally said.

[Natalia]

Natalia pursed her lips awkwardly. This conversation was going nowhere.

Serenity thought for a moment because they both knew that this was a waste of time. "So, how long have you been in deathclan?" she asked, a swing in her voice.

[Natalia]

Natalia sighed. That was a typical question it seemed. "I've been here for a long while." She answered. It had been a long time since she'd been considered fully grown, and she'd been in Deathclan since before that.

"I've only been here a moon or two." she said, knowing it was probably the default question for all cats that hadn't met. She still wasn't sure what to say though, if anything.

[Natalia]

Well, that was obvious. Natalia could tell by her scent. "... Why'd you end up in Deathclan?" She asked. The second most common question. "You don't have to tell me." She added. She doubted many cats added that second part. Natalia above all cats respected that cats have their own personal issues they don't want to broadcast.

Serenity shook her head. "It's a long story with many betrayals and many deaths. Short story, I was on my own, stumbled upon this place, and decided to stay." she replied.
