Haszelpaw nodded and scanned the field she saw a brown dot a bit away. She snuck towards the hare she pounced and missed. However she wasn't going to quit she chased it down and talked it and she swiftly took its life. She thanked cloudclan for the kill briefly.

Rainlight watched from afar, grinning when Hazelpaw made the catch. 'Has she been through hunting training already? She's excellent.' She padded over. "See? You're a great hunter. I don't know why you doubted yourself."

"Well, you're really good at it." She commented, beginning to move on. "We can pick up the hares on the way back. Let's go try to catch different prey." 'I bet we can find a squirrel or two at the TreeClan border.'

Rainlight stopped once the scent of TreeClan was strong. "Again, no help from me. Try and track down something other than rabbit."

Hazelpaw was terrified so she sight out to find a price of prey she couldn't find any for 3 hours until she heard chewing. "she crouched down and through the grass she could make out a little grey mouse. She began to close in on it. Once the mouse noticed her it ws too late. Hazelpaw thanked cloudclan for the kill and returned to rainlight. The sun was far Lower in the sky compared to the last time she was here. She dropped the mouse.

Rainlight waited patiently, watching as Hazelpaw bounded off. Soon she was out of sight.
After a while she became a little concerned, and started walking around to look for Hazelpaw. What was taking her so long? Then, in the corner of her eye, she spotted her apprentice. She purred. "A mouse! Great job. We should start heading back now. You can take this, and I'll be sure to collect your rabbits from earlier."

"Good. You can run ahead, I'll meet you back at camp." She chirped, turning the other way to go collect the rabbits. "You did amazing today, so I'll let you rest tomorrow, but be ready to train the day after."
