|| Hazelblaze || Rainlight exited the nursery with a purr, excited for another day of training. She trotted over to the apprentices' den and poked her head inside. "Hazelpaw, training today!" She backed out and took a seat.

Hazelpaw buried her face in her flowery nest. She was hunting today. Scratch that she was failing to hunt today.
Hazelpaw cleared her throat and let out a deep voice that was not her own "um sorry mamm Hazelpaw isn't here"

Rainlight chuckled quietly and padded into the den. She stopped once she reached Hazelpaw's nest. "Hazelpaw, come on. It's going to be okay."

"Yes it will. I'll help you." She insisted, ready to grab Hazelpaw by the scruff if she resisted again. They couldn't be here all day.

Rainlight smiled and left the den, leading the way out of camp. She stopped on top of a hill, nodding at the open prairie in front of them. Rabbits popped out of holes and sprinted off every now and then, but then quickly disappeared out of sight. "So, since you can't use your nose, let's try to use your eyes for tracking prey. Can you see anything?"

Hazelpaw tried to bat the tall grass out of her face "no I can't the grass is to tall!" She pouted.

Rainlight squashed the grass in front of Hazelpaw's face and held it to the ground. "There. How about now?"

"better I guess but I don't see any rabbits around here... Oh wait there's one over there!" She meowed loudly in excitement. So loud the rabbit scurried off.

Rainlight purred softly. "Good job! Just try to be a little quieter next time you see one, okay? Then we can try to sneak closer to it." She squinted at the prairie in front of them. "Tell me if you see any more. Just remember, be quiet."

Hazelpaw looked about for a while "I see one to our left" she whispered.

"Good! Now let's try to sneak up on it." She whispered back, slowly starting to creep closer. "When you're close enough, try to lunge for the side. Just be aware of the back legs and try not to get kicked- it can really hurt."

Hazelpaw spaw began speed crawling towards the rabbit she then tackled it and bit it's neck killing it. Sure it was messy but she caught it. It suddenly sunk in "ACTUALLY CAUGHT IT!" she yowled in a joyous shock.

Rainlight watched Hazelpaw closely, gasping in surprise when she caught it. "You did! I knew you could do it!" She purred loudly. padding closer. "Do you think you could do it again? This time you won't get any help from me."
