Spice hunched over a decent drinking area, feeling cool liquid pass from her pallet to her stomach filled her with ease. She once finished re-hydrating stood up straight and flicked her ears. Weird... she thought she had just heard something... giving a quick look around she realized she wasn't alone. Though she wasn't in a hostile mood she still made a point of calling out to the stranger. "Who Goes?" she said it as a soft question and not a harsh interrogation. She was kind of in the mood for a real conversation.

Natalia sighed as she lay at the riverbank, her paws hung over the edge, lightly brushing the water. She stared into the water and saw her reflection. She stiffened as a face flashed before her eyes and she unconsciously covered one of her eyes with her forepaws. She let out another sigh, as she let the paw fall back to its original position.
Her ears perked up as she heard someone call out. Her ears flattened as she gave an unfriendly stare to the speaker. "Depends who's asking."

Of course, the typical deathclan reply. Spice was not impressed. With a flick of her ears she felt a slight bit of irritation. "Must you all be the same?" she said more to her self than the strange she-cat. "Who's asking? that would be me. You may refer to me as Spice if you wish." She flicked her tail and got seated uncertain on how this meeting was to turn out. "Do you have a name?"

Natalia rolled her eyes. "What? You expect to be met with offers of friendship and sunny smiles? If you want that, then you're going to have to go somewhere else." She huffed at Spice. Deathclan was full of cats who barely trusted each other and weren't exactly all well-adjusted individuals. She sighed. "Natalia."

She was amused by the answer, "Was kinda hoping for some of that yeah." she gave a crooked smile as she too got the cats name. "Well it's nice to meet your acquaintance Natalia..." she paused taking into consideration this cats chipper personality..not. "I take it you've been in deathclan for some time?"

Natalia twitched her ear, with a lack of amusement. "Yeah. Like I said, you want some of that, go bother someone else." She sighed. She shook her head. Admittedly, cats were less... Violent than they used to be, from what she gathered. Still, there were some admittedly friendly cats like Jude. Then there were the suspicious ones like her and Pain. She simply nodded.

Flicking her ears she felt a bit unsettled by this cats continuing Debby downer personality. "Well it really isn't a bother at all." With a wide forced smile she added. "Why are you so grumpy?" Spice wished to inquire regardless of how rude it might have come out.

Natalia flattened her ears. Spice's smile seemed to be almost painful. It creeped her out. "Because of cats like you, who insist I need to act happy." She replied flatly. She really hated that. She didn't have to smile. Yeah she was broken, no need to pretend she wasn't.

Dipping her head to the side, she flicked her ears. "I don't recall making such a claim" her voice held confusion oblivious to the bigger picture. "By all means if your unhappy be unhappy I only wanted to know why." Her young bright eyes widened in antisapation as if she would be answered this time.

Natalia's annoyance showed as she flicked one of her ears impatiently. "Hmph. Sorry for making assumptions." The tabby grumbled. She huffed. "Look, I didn't say I was upset or anything." Though, in truth she wasn't sure she could call herself happy. "I just don't do that whole... Wear your heart on your sleeve thing."

She tipped her head. "Don't stress it really, I don't mind I guess I do sound a bit nosy it's my fault" her young self tried to make amends for the strange topic of conversation at the moment. "You kind of look upset are you sure your not?" being the kid she was it was just saying what she saw not really meaning much by it. "Oh" she said when Natalia had finished. "Am I like that? Wearing my heart for the world to see?" she was a bit puzzled by the metaphor but at the same time thrilled by it.

Natalia sighed. Seems Spice at least figured out that she was a cat who valued personal privacy. She flattened her ears when Spice inquired after her well-being. ".... Wearing your heart on your sleeve means you're easily readable and don't hide much from other cats." She explained, her voice edged by slight annoyance.
"I don't. It means I like my privacy and I'm not comfortable sharing many things with total strangers." She explained further, somewhat glaring pointedly at Spice at the mention of 'strangers.'

She gave a nod seeing she had overstepped her bounds. "Well I guess I don't mind sharing with those whom wish to know I mean most cats in this clan would rather not get to know my name much less my mood" she stated with a small smile as she rounded her thoughts to be the simplistic opposite of Natalia's. "Alright then all you have to say is you would rather not talk about it." she purred amused as to why this seemed to be so hard for the older feline. "Sorry I guess I'm just a bit more open that other. If i'm bothering you really just say." With another childlike remark she added. "Silly we aren't strangers you know my name and I know yours. "

Natalia let out a small sigh of relief. She was glad to see that at least Spice understood. She frowned. "I'm fairly sure cats would want to know your name and who you are." She replied, though she didn't imagine it to be for compassionate reasons. Moreover knowing the cats around you and their potential to be a threat. Sure it was mildly paranoid and cynical...
But hey. That was life.
"... Alright, then." She supposed she did have a bad habit of... Assuming cats knew what she was thinking. She wasn't particularly prideful, but all the same it was rather difficult for her to flat out say how she felt.
She flattened her ears. "I don't know much about you beyond that." She pointed out.

She sprawled out in a fashion of ease. Regaurdless of how much she seemed to not know about her company. She with out a question was a bit more trusting than she should be but hey it hasn't come to bite her yet. "Well you know my name, and that i'm in a decent mood what more do you really need to know?" with a wide smile she rolled over showing her belly fur to the sun.
