Another vice [static]

Static's strike missed and Serenity backed away as she started to get all weird on her. She tried not to think of her brother Jag. She remembered playfighting with him when she was just an itty bitty kit. She didn't want to remember those times. Given he was older, he always won. But she always improved through practice. She lunged for Serenity again, trying to curve around and attack Serenity's shoulder.

Serenity once again dodged to the side and took sevral steps back. This stratigie was fun and all, but it did no damage, so she readied herself to fight back once Static came at her again. "Come on kitty, would you really fight like with with just anyone? Surely you can land at least one hit when I'm more focused on ddodging than letting myself be hit." she called to tthe other cat.

Static growled. "You can't win a fight with just dodging!" She hissed loudly. She took a running start looking like she was trying to lunge at Serenity again. But at the last second, she leapt and tried to sink her jaws into the back of Serenity's neck.

"Are you so sure about that?" Serenity asked, remembering countless fights she had won just by dodging. Non the less, when Static lunged, she had perdicted it was more than a lunge because the other cat kept trying to pull tricks like that. And in response she would always step to the side. Rather than that, this time she pounced towards the spot static would be by the time she landed, and ended up hitting static, sure, but in the air.

Static was knocked to the side. The wind got knocked out of her air. As she got back to her feet, she was trying to catch her breath. Asides from bruises, and the burning wound on her hindleg, she was fine. She growled meaninglessly. She simply charged Serenity, trying to sink her teeth into somewhere on Serenity. She was prepared to make a sharp turn to get at her again, since she seemed awfully fond of dodging.

Serenity winced slightly, finding breath knocked out of her. "Do you see why I prefer dodging?" she asked, pushing herself up rather quickly and tensing. She viewed her suroundings, taking less than a second to see the tree behind her and thought to move behind it, but chose otherwise, sidestepping the attack once again, not noticing the change that showed static was more ready for a sharp turn as before. She just acted as she typically did, dancing back after dodging the current attack.

Rather than using her legs to lunge and swipe at Serenity, she left the wounding part up to her teeth and jaws. She used her legs to keep chasing after Serenity, making sharp swerves to keep up with Serenity dancing around her jaws.

"This isn't a fight!" She growled loudly.

"No, it's not. It's very fun though." she giggles, curious as to why static wasn't striking with her claws, but not bothering to say anything. Rather she continued moving around, truly having fun dodging rather than striking.
(I think Serenity liked dodging.)

Static growled. Then suddenly an idea struck the young she-cat. Though, she didn't want to enact it quite yet. Maybe if she didn't get a hit in soon. She continued their dance of snapping her jaws and moving her paws.

Serenity smiled. "Come on, surely you can figure out that snapping you jaws won't work." she laughed. "I was trained as a kit to be a good dodger, and you do really fight like my brother." she added, still more focused on dodging than her words. Her words were like a language of her own by then though, and she had done enough taunting, it was practically natural

Static growled and even as she was running, she sunk her teeth rather deep into her forepaw. It hurt. Quite a bit, it wasn't a shallow wound. Despite the unpleasant taste, she sucked quite an amount into her mouth. As she chased after Serenity, when they were close she spat onto her face. Then an instant later she lunged again, trying to sink her claws or teeth into her foe. Whichever worked. 

((.... I have no idea how I thought of this as a distraction. Will it work on Serenity? I haven't the faintest clue XD

(I think it will. She seems to like dodging though. This is the reason I take so long to respond.

Serenity was shocked when the other cat bit herself, but kept dodging. When she had blood spit in her face, she ducked her head, whiping her face with her paws. Despite what one may think, she hated blood on her pelt. "Blech, what was that for?" she asked, but no sooner had she asked than she had a mouth clamped on her shoulder and claws in her chest. She stayed wither her head ducked though, the claws were to the side more. She stayed in that position, waiting for the best opertunity to do most damagee while escaping.

Static was deeply satisfied as her teeth sunk into Serenity's shoulder and her claws in her chest. Serenity strangely enough wasn't ripping herself away. Static took advantage to do as much damage as she could at the moment. She sunk her teeth and claws deeper. At this point, she couldn't be torn away without even more tearing happening.

Serenity knew Static wasn't going to move much other than agist Serenity, so she lifter her head sharply, intending to ram it into Static's chest.

Static was surprised by the sudden impact to her chest. She was essentially shoved a little. Though, it was enough to dislodge Static's teeth and claws, though the rough exit caused the wounds to expand.

She breathed heavily as blood dripped from her jaws. Then she huffed. "I don't feel like doing that again." She decided. Before Serenity could get in another word, she ran away as fast as she could.

She didn't trust the evasive cat to not try and get in another swipe of her claws.
