Serenity sat near her den, grooming herself. She smelled another cat near by and jumped to her feet, ready to defend her territory, although with this clan she doubted she would have to. Not like she used to any way. She cautiously took a step forward and called out, "Who goes there?" with a slight grin. She would acctually like a fight. It had been a while.

Static had taken Patch's advice to heart. She was running through and skidded to a stop in front of some cat's den. With a determined, shining look in her eyes, she grinned. "Fight me!" She shouted, probably scaring a good amount of prey away.

Serenity smiled, glad to have an opponent. Worthy? No one knew, but still a challanger. "Bring it." she said, positioning herself to dodge the younger cat's first attack.

Static's claws slid out and she leaped up in the air, aiming to pin down Serenity's tail and kick her with her hindleg.

Serenity jumped out of the way, just scarecly though, but hey considering she was going for the tail, all she had to do was puull it in and turn around. She saw that Static was going for a kick, which hit her left shouulder. It hurt, but she held herself up. "Not to bad." she growled, lashing out with her front paw and jumping back, not putting preessure on her left leg.

Claws tore through her thigh on one of her hindlegs and Static pulled her legs back, ignoring the burn of pain, and managed to whip around. Then she lunged at Serenity's face, trying to rake her clothes through the lighter furred she-cat's flesh.

Serenity turneed her head slightly, knowing she couldn't dodge the attack. The sharp pain came in one wave before she blinked it away, glad her eye hadn't been hit. She Turned without a moment to waste and pounced, positioning herself in a way that if her attack was dodged she would e fine. It was harder to get a grip if she did hit, but she'd rather not be unable to fight, even if for a small second.

Static immediately rolled to the side to dodge Serenity's next attack and she lunged again, this time at Serenity's side.

Serenity wasted not a second dodging Static's attack, jumping up to. Low yet sturdy branch of a tree rather than moving left or right. "Very good," she spoke finally, "Now, want a real battle or a clan practice type battle?" She made sure to be ready to jump down from the branch, an easy dodge ussually, while she spoke. Her white leg was not quite covered in scarlet blood, but there were a few streaks in stark contrast. It stung a little, but she had been through worse. Her cheek was also bleeding, but other than that she was fine. She couldn't dodge every attack though, so her technique was to make sure no harm came to the more important places that would end a battle for her.

Static huffed and pouted up at Serenity. She wasn't really great at scaling trees, heck she didn't even know how to start to climb a tree. She huffed again. "How do you know how clans practice fighting?" She questioned. "Just get down and fight!" She insisted. Compared to other fights, thus far there was only a wound on one of her hindlegs. It stung and burned as wounds do, but at this point she was fairly used to it.

Serentiy laughed sharply. "Because they are big babiees that think having allies in every corner and never having a true fight with each other is the way to go." she scorned. "Get down?" she sighed with laughter dancing in her eyes. "Whatever you say." she jumped frrom the branch so she would landd directly behind Static and struck out sharply before ddancing back, not really noticing rather she had landed a hit or not.

Static squinted angrily. She felt like she should be offended by the statement somehow. She couldn't figure out why. As soon as she saw Serenity start to move, she tried to jump up to lunge at her mid-air. Though, this sort of backfired and worked in her favor at the same time. On one paw, she didn't hit Serenity, on the other she managed to dodge Serenity's sky attack.

As Static's paws hit the ground again, she whipped around quickly and she tried to pounce, and land forepaw claws-first. Simultaneously, she tried to land her back claws onto Serenity's face, or at least her head.

Serenity was caught off guard by Static's attack, endding up on her back. She quickly rolled over, but couldn't jump up in time to dodge Static's next attack. She felt the other cat's weight on her and could tell the position she was in. She ducked down her head and jumped up, hopefully strong enough and surprising enough to knock the smaller cat off, fully aware of the blood on her neck. She could feel it. "That one hurt there kitty." she said.

Static grinned as she could feel her hind claws sinking into somewhere close to Serenity's head. She couldn't see exactly where she'd hit, considering the fact that it happened quickly. Soon enough, she was bucked off and she fell a distance away, managing to roll onto her side as the hit the ground, able to scramble back onto her paws almost smoothly, but quickly. She grinned.

"That was the point." She lunged forward looking like, she was aiming low, but then she sharply struck upwards, aiming for her neck again.

Serenity stayed still as Static lunged, but sidestepped at the last moment. "Just like my brother when he used to fight me. Yay." she said in a fake baby voice. She had always loved fighting with her brother and if he didn't go easy on her, she would have never won. But he did go easy, so beatiing him was a charm. She backed some distance away, chosing to play a game of dodging for a while, and chosing to give herself some space for it.
