Autumndust
Spottedkit looked around the clearing and catched her mother's pelt right away. "Mommy!" She piped running towards her mother. She nuzzled her mother's legs and purred so loud it could start an earthquake.

It always filled Autumndust with a sense of pride to be with her kits. So often she was distracted by keeping the nursery safe and calm enough that she didn't get to spend as much time with her own as she would have liked. Since it was quiet in the nursery, for now, she had taken that moment to step out for a short while, but she was glad that Spottedkit had come outside as well. "Why, hello, Spottedkit," she purred, leaning down to lick the top of her kit's head affectionately. "How have you been? You're almost an apprentice, aren't you?"

Spottedkit purred. "Im doing amazing! Yesterday I caught a spider!" Spottedkit playfully growled doing a swipe in the air. She turned back to her mother. "Yep! I finally get to join Flowerpaw and Mosspaw in the apprentice den! But only for a short time though cause they're almost warriors sadly." Spottedkit let her tail drop before it popped up again. "I think some of my other siblings may become apprentices as well but I have so many I couldn't even count if I tried." She purred trying to imagine how many kits were her siblings in the clan. "I have a question though...What will happen when I become an apprentice?" Spottedkit asked worry in her clear blue orbs.

One of the reasons Autumndust loved kits so much was that their endless energy and excitement was contagious. "Well, first of all, you'll be taught how to handle all the duties of a warrior," Autumndust began, looking down at Spottedkit with a fond smile. "Which means you'll learn how to hunt, fight, and do some of the icky stuff like cleaning out the dens. But it also means you'll be able to leave the camp, too, so you won't have to stay cooped up here anymore."
