It was barely morning and the dawn patrol returned to the camp. Crevicelight herself was a part of this patrol, but as much as the warrior wanted to nap, she was assigned a new apprentice. Stonepaw, was it? Oh well! The warrior slipped away from her patrol who was slowly returning back to the warriors' den and instead went into the apprentices' den. "Stonepaw," she whispered, "where are you?"

Stonepaw's silvery-grey eyes blinked open as she heard her name called. It took a second for her eyes to adjust and for her mind to completely comprehend where she was, seeing as the she-cat still wasn't all that used to the apprentice's den yet. Yawning, she rose smoothly onto her paws and stretched slightly before exiting the den. "Right here," she mewed back, her voice above a whisper but still quiet. Blinking the sleep from her eyes, the black she-cat padded towards her mentor and away from the mass of sleeping apprentices.

Crevicelight smiled when she heard her apprentice's response. Did she wake her up? Maybe she should come back for her later. 'No, we need to train now; that way she can experience her first day in the territory as a full day.'The warrior left the den and waited for her apprentice to be ready beside the camp exit. "We're going to have a tour of the territory first, and then we'll practice hunting if we have enough time today!" she chirped.

Stonepaw's pale, pinkish-purple tongue lolled out of her mouth in a yawn. Yet, despite being tired, she was excited for her first day of training. She inwardly grinned as she spotted Crevicelight at the camp entrance, quickly trotting over to her. "Alright!" the black she-cat mewed, paws itching to leave the camp, "we heading out now?" Her gaze flicked expectantly between her mentor and the camp entrance. She wasn't all that hungry, and didn't mind out on skipping breakfast.

Crevicelight smiled, remembering her own days of her training. "I think it's best if you take something along for you to snack on," she suggested. "If you're not hungry now, but I can guess you'll feel hunger once we finish the tour."

Stonepaw nodded, "alright, I'll be right back," she mewed, bounding over to the fresh-kill and quickly selecting a small gray mouse for her breakfast. The black apprentice chewed on the prey a bit as she returned to her mentor's side.
