Flutterkit was one of the newer kittens.
She kept on staring at a mossball beside her mother's nest. 'Should I do something with it?' Flutterkit thought before curling up in her mother's nest. 'What if it's dangerous?' She thought before looking away from the mossball. 'It looks scary' Flutterkit started to stare at her white paws. 'I'm just going to stay here' She sighed and twitched her tail.

Echo's tiny blue eyes had opened just the day before, and now she couldn't wait to explore. Sort of.
Her silvery blue orbs, like electric is, gazed out from her mother's warm side. Her tiny maw stretched wide in a yawn, and she peered over at her ginger pelted mother. Supposedly her father looked very similar to mama. 'Why am I so different...?' Was a frequent thought that filtered its way into her tiny mind. She hadn't asked her mama that yet, and instead found herself crawling her way over to her sister. Echo was slightly younger than her two siblings, Asterkit and Flutterkit. She didn't understand this much either, but she didn't are. Instead she nudged her sister fervently, letting out a tiny mewl of greeting as she nuzzled into her slightly older sibling. She still doesn't know they aren't related, and she loves her two littermates just as much as she loves her precious mama. "Flutterkit...Can we play...?" My eyes look at her with a hopeful spark, twitching to the ball of moss that I flick a tiny paw at from my perch in our family nest. It skims the green moss and I purr in delight as my teeny claw snagging on it makes it roll closer. I retract my claw and pull my paw back to peer at my sister. "Please...?"

Flutterkit let out a squeak when another kitten started to speak. She backed up a bit get light blue eyes wide but then Flutterkit sighed when she realized that it was just Echokit another one of her siblings. She stared at her paws, fur hot with embarrassment. "Sorry." Flutterkit murmured her ears drooping. She then stared at the mossball with her light blue eyes. "You want to play with me?" Flutterkit's eyes were wide with surprise. She had never been asked to play before. "Ok." She replied before sighing. 'Hopefully she won't throw it too hard'

Echo honestly can't read her sister. One second, she's practically terrified, and the next, she's sighing.
'Am I like that?' The thought flickers by her tiny mind at the speed of the beetle scurring away in the corner of her eye. She mentally shrugs it off and allows her gaze to wander back to her sister. 'She's very pretty...' She thinks to herself, smiling at the thought as she looks over her sister's pale coat before her eyes widen in surprise. "What are you apologising for? You did nothing wrong sis" She points out, her voice squeaking slight in her hurried attempt to reassure her rather embarrassed looking sibling. 'Is she gonna cry? She looks like she's going to cry...' Echo frowns slightly at Flutterkit, concern making her gaze almost doe like as she wills her silently not to be upset. Maybe it was Exho who was in the wrong? She hadn't remembered doing anything bad, but still...She shakes off the thought as her sister seemingly recovers.
"Of course I wanna play with you, we're sisters!" She didn't mean her comment to sound so indignant, as so she tries to soften her tone slightly and smile. "Do you know how to play?" Echo asks, offering the older feline a hopeful look through her icy gaze. She gets to her paws swiftly, not wanting her sister to get upset again, and determined to make it up and get it right. Hooking the moss all once more with her claws, she moves a good amount of paces away from her sister, and waves her tail slightly in anticipation. "Ready Flutterkit?" She asks, before tossing ball toward her. It flows in a gentle arc in the other she-kit's general direction, though it lands a little to the left of her. Echo ducks her head, a little ashamed, though she still giggles. "Sorry, that was a bad throw..."
