Aspenfang peered at the entrance of the warrior's den from her nest; a light storm raining down on the FireClan camp. It was strange being in a new nest after seasons of sleeping in the apprentice's den. It was even more stranger not being able to sleep, since that was one of her favorite things to do. Sighing, the russet tabby left her nest and sat near the entrance of the den, boredly watching the rain soak the floor of the FireClan camp.

Fangshadow, was in a slight sleep that was rudely interrupted by the faint pitter-patter of rain. Raising his head he was glad to be greeted by the scent of rain. Blinking the bleariness out of his eyes he noticed a figure by the den entrance. He couldn't place a name to the ginger pelt. He rose to his aging bones and padded silently to her side. "Mind If I join you?"

Aspenfang's ears twitched attentively when the sound of another's footsteps could be heard echoing softly in the quiet down. Curious, she turned her head and spotted a large tabby tom approaching her. "Sure," she mewed happily, glad to have some company, "my name's Aspenfang, by the way."

Glad to be greeted by such happy words he sat down. Flicking his ear as her soft voice informed him her name. He gave a wide set grin one that reached his eyes true-ling enjoying the point of a new conversation and meeting. He dipped his head in a more formal show of greetings. "It's nice to meet you AspenFang. I'm FangShadow"

"Nice to meet you too," Aspenfang mewed cheerily before flicking her gaze back to the outside of the den, "the weather keeping you up?" she mewed, gesturing with her tail-tip towards the rainstorm outside. The russet tabby loved watching the rainfall but her long pelt took forever to dry, so usually she was forced to take cover when it started raining.

He gave a warm nod, as they seemed to be getting off to a great start. He added as a question was asked. "Why yes, though I do find a rainy night a rather good interruption." With a purr he added, "You?"
