@castielwinchester
Serenity walked slowly, not really wanting to endure the pain that her foot still felt after her last income, but she wouldn't show that. And laying around doing nothing would be showing that. She had pulled herself away from her den. She was a stress cleaner, and at that point it would be bad for her den to reorganize it again. She kept a pretty smile on her face instead. She watched her surroundings, her eyes subtly watching every single movement in the forrest, although no one would seem to notice. She turned her head slightly, eyes fixed on one object. She made sure i wasn't another ccat, then her head would move slightly again. She blinked as she caught a glimps of another cat and kept walking as though she didn't see it, hoping the oother cat wouldn't want to talk. Hopefully the other cat hadn't even seen her.

Castiel was walking under the moonlight. He grimaced as he thought of what some of his siblings would say. Particularly the ones with more vulgar language such as Lucifer. Some of his other siblings claimed his expression was stuck in a permanent grimace, such as Gabriel. However, that was not the case. At least, Castiel didn't believe so.
As he was walking past, he noticed he was noticed by another. Though, they seemed to pretend they didn't notice him. He furrowed his brow. He wasn't sure what sense that made. He ended up stopping in his tracks. Though, he didn't approach.

Serenity stopped as well as she saw the other cat stopped walking. She kept her eyes trained on him, ready to defend herself or run at a moments notice if need be. She watched the other cat carefully, noting every breath. Reading people was not a skill of hers, but she found if she paid enough attention tto the speed of the breath, the facce of the cat, the motions the cat made, she could figure out what they were thinking. She smiled though, not all that good of a fake smile, but considering she'd rather run than even see another cat, that was pretty good. She didn't say a word though, simply watched the other cat curiously.

Castiel could see that the other cat stopped pretending she didn't notice him. She didn't seem to want to let him out of her sight. Or, perhaps she was trying to see what she could make of him. He cocked his head.
She was smiling, though it was strained and stiff. Clearly a facade of friendliness. Castiel found it looked somewhat painful. Though, it wasn't nearly as unsettling at Lucifer's smile or Michael's attempt at one. He did not believe his older brother was meant to smile, in this life or the next.

Serenity watched Castiel almost more carefully, if that was possible, as she spoke. "Who might you be?" she asked. The other cat hadn't spoken which was ussually her air to ask something. Better than answering questions she guessed. She shivered slightly at the thought of a previous rounds of questions. They were questions that she herself needed answers to as well though. Seriously, who killed their parents and didn't remember? It was just weird and she'd have to figure it out eventually. As she repositioned herself slightly she winced for a fragment of a second at the pain in her paw, but her smiled returned quickly, a normal mask to her to cover her emotions, although some days it was much more natural than others.

Castiel cocked his head. "Castiel." He responded. It appeared the strange she-cat took the first move, though she still seemed reasonably cautious. She did not appear to be keen on giving Castiel any social indicators. It may well make conversation somewhat difficult...
But he'd try to deal with this. "Do you have a name?" He asked in return. He imagined it could be any number of things. He wasn't entirely sure, but he'd heard that clan cats had names that tended to be fairly on the nose, while rogues and loners could have any number of names. They had names ranging from things of nature, to abstract ideas, to strange names that you'd normally find attached to a kittypet.

Serenity nodded and repeated his name under her breath. "Soundss pretty." she muttered tto be polite. Though she hated social conversations, it had been trained into her to be polite in them. Trained by her brother who she should be currently doing exsactly the oposite of anything he ever told her. She flicked her tail in annoyence at the fact that even though he had completely betrayed her, she was still dependent on what he had taught her. Couldn't she just live wwithout his influence? Not likely. She responded to quickly to Castiel's question with "Take a guess.", not wanting to ssay whatever you want to call me or her acctual name. She ussually responded with the former, but recently decided she would make up a name. She never really liked serenity anyway. It reminded her too much of a dark past. It would always be her name though, and she decided she would never lie about that, if she ever acctually shared it.

((OkAY so I also RP Natalia (not sure if you knew that) but I know this probably sounds dumb but if Serenity and Natalia actually became friends they could bond over terrible brothers except Serenity sees that her's is a butt and Natalia still loves her bro so so much))
Castiel cocked his head. He didn't smile, but there seemed to be a glint in his eye. That was the first time anyone had complimented his name. Usually cats called them weird...
Though, she seemed annoyed. She was lashing her tail. Were his questions offensive? Or was her answer dishonest? He wasn't entirely sure, since he didn't feel as if he had a proper read on the light furred she-cat. "I'm sorry." He started. "I should have phrased my question better. What is your name?" He asked properly. He wondered if she found her own name strange as well. Perhaps it would provide a reason as to why she was being somewhat evasive concerning her name. Not that Castiel was all too well versed in social interaction. With his interactions limited to his family who were somewhat... Eccentric... It hadn't provided a good model for the outside world.

(Yeah, thaat would be fun. Serenity has opened up a lot more too, and if they met in a case in which Serenity wasn't being stalked by another cat their meeting may go well.)
Serenity nodded. "You stated your question clearly enough. Do you think you can guess my name though?" she asked, simply repeating what she had said before, her tone a bit nicer though. She liked seeing what other cats came up with for her. Her personal favorite was Ms. Don'tknow by Soliel or blaze or whoever. She understood it though, because she had done a lot of reesearch on that split personalitty before hand. She didn't like the idea though, because it brought her back to her parents. And that was never a good thing. "I like to see what other cats think." her smile was a bit more ginuine now.

((yes we should do another thread and see how it goes))
Castiel cocked his head. That was interesting. She wanted him to guess her name. He saw her brightly colored pelt and even brighter pelt. There were a multitude of names that could be selected...
"I believe cats can have many different types of names. Perhaps something that is rather obvious. Such as Snowy. Or it could be one of those strange names you frequently see attached to kittypets like Luna. Some cats have names that are abstract ideas such as Radiance." He'd given three guesses thus far. He was unsure if he got any of them right, or even came close. He sighed. "Nicknames... I frequently I am called 'Cas'. Sometimes Cassie by some of my more immature siblings." He frowned. "Though, I have been called many creative nicknames. I believe if I listed all of mine we'd be here a while." He recalled a time when Gabriel had called him 'Captain Side-Eyes.' That was strange.

"Radiance. Now that would be a nice name. I'm Serenity though." she responded, not a hint of sarcasm or any other of her ussual emotions in her voice for once. "Cas is a good nickname, but isn't Cassie a nickname or Cassidy?" she asked, shaking her head. "Probably both. I myself have a lot of nicknames. Cotton, Snowy, so you were sort of right on that one, no name, cloud..." her voice trailed off. "Basically one from ever cat I've met." And it was true. She almost always diddn't giver them he4r name, so they made up nicknames for her. (Want me to go ahead and make a thread?)

((That'd be fantastic ^w^
Castiel flattened his eyes. "It is normally a name attributed to females... Thus, one of the reasons it irks me somewhat." He sighed. "Though... My brothers are not the type to stop simply because someone asks." He admitted. He cocked his head. "I see. If you withhold your name, I imagine you accumulate quite the amount of nicknames." Castiel didn't have nicknames from those outside his family. He only hoped that if they ever came up they were less... Feminine.

"Yep. I probably have about 8, more than that, but I dodn't keep track. Only for the ones I like." she responded, a smile on her face. "Unfortunatly, once you get a nickname it sticks. I don't mind any of mine, but if you dont like a nickname I've figured out it's gonna be something you live with. My sister used to call me Angel, aand I hated it, but she didn't stop. To this day she would still be calling me that if she hadn't..." she bit her lip, voice trailing off as she looked down.

Castiel sighed. "You speak the truth..." He groaned. Balthazar didn't call him anything but 'Cas' or more frequently, 'Cassie'. It was quite annoying. While Gabriel came up increasingly strange nicknames that sounded more like titles for him everyday. To be fair, the two brothers tended to do this sort of thing with the rest...
He cocked his head. "Did she die?" He asked bluntly, though there was a softness to his voice.
((He has the social graces of a moldy log despite good intentions))

Sereenity nodded, not lifting her gaze in fear that Castiel would see that rather than sadness, there was laugghter in her eyes, or at least a little. "Their death was a sad event and I have gotten over all of them except Lily." she responded, gazing up through her eyelashes. "It scares me more than saddens me." sshe spoke, casting any trace of happiness out of her eyess as she looked up. That's how someone was sopposed to feel about all their siblings being dead, right? Sad?
