Oakpaw lay sprawled out near the apprentice's den, soaking up the leaf-fall sun, enjoying the warmth. I wonder when it's gonna start getting cold? he thought, gazing towards the entrance of the camp in boredom. He would much rather be out in the territory, enjoying the sunny days while they lasted; not that the cold would bother him, his pelt was unusually long for a FireClan cat's. Pouting, he continued to gaze at the entrance before he caught a glimpse familiar pelt out of the corner of his eye.
"Frostedpaw!" he grinned and got onto his paws, trotting over to the she-cat. He hadn't seen her that much since he started his apprenticeship, which was a little sad since he enjoyed her company. I wonder if she'll want to go out into the territory with me? the dusty-brown tom-cat thought, hoping the she-cat would still want to hang out with him now that they were apprentice's.

Frostedpaw was bored.
She had enough of doing apprentice chores since it was so tiring. The brown and white tabby sat down near the exit of the camp. Her ears pricked up at avoided calling her name. Frostedpaw recognized the pelt of Oakpaw. "Hi, Oakpaw." She meowed softly. "How's your apprenticeship going?" The brown and white tabby she-cat asked, ears perking up to hear his response.

Oakpaw grinned as he approached the she-cat. "Pretty good," he mewed brightly, then blinked his eyes as he looked down at his friend. Had Frostedpaw always been that small? He decided not to think to much about it. He was always forgetting how much he had grown since his early apprenticeship; he was about the size of a full-grown warrior now, and even then it was likely he'd grow a bit more, since he was naturally a large cat. His long pelt helped him as well. "I was about to head out into the territory. Wanna join?" he flicked his light green gaze between Frostedpaw and the camp entrance, hoping she would say yes. He always felt weird having conversations in camp, where anyone could overhear him.

Frostedpaw was happy to see Oakpaw again. It was quite fun handing out with the tabby tom. She stared at the exit of the camp with icy blue eyes and then looked back at Oakpaw. "Sure I'd love to." The brown and white tabby meowed before standing up and drewing a paw between her ears. She looked at Oakpaw. "You may lead the way." The brown and white tabby meowed before thinking about the territory. 'Had Oakpaw had a territory tour yet?' Frostedpaw thought. 'Probably'
