Scare smiled as he lay down in the territory that his pack claimed as their own. He had been trying to relax a little and bask in what may be the last of summer's warm days. It was practically autumn, which meant the tree leaves were beginning to fall and turn orange- it was actually rather pretty.
The tall wolf looked down at his black paws, leaning his head down to give one of them a small lick before looking back upwards, his ears pricking at the sound of a noise. Another wolf was nearby, however, he couldn't determine whether it was a packmate or an enemy. He stood up on long legs and looked around with golden coloured eyes, waiting for the other wolf to show themselves.

Killer watched the black male with amusement. He didn't even break stride he had nothing to fear or worry about from this other male. In fact he seemed quite inadiqit for the rank of beta let alone to be part of the pack. With a deep snarl he spoke. "It's rather disappointing to see you can't distinguish the scent of your own pack-mates with those of a enemy." He showed his distaste with a lip curling of disgust. His yellow soul-less optics burned into the other males. "This is where you bow and beg for mercy you pathetic waste of air"

Scare's ears folded back as he saw Killer reveal himself. Yes, he had respect for the other wolf- he was a packmate and had probably had more experience in the forest than him- but that didn't mean that the beta liked his tone. Blinking his golden eyes, Scare began to speak, "Nothing wrong with being cautious," He replied.
Taking a step towards the elite, the dark wolf continued, "Now, how about we change the subject and our attitudes, then we can start over," He paused, "I actually want to like you, Killer, but with that tone of voice it's going to take a while, isn't it?" He asked rhetorically.

He snorted, "There is a fine line between cautious and dumb" he said bluntly. Shifting so he could stand on his current stronger side. As it would seem he was still healing or at least thats what his niece storm kept trying to tell him. "I would enjoy a subject change." Though not promising to change his nature of attitude. He tilted his head as the younger male went on. "Ah you want to like me, is that so" he chuckled. "Well i'm not stopping you and sorry but thats my normal voice so if you aren't a fan I've got all the time in the world."

Scare sighed, deciding that the only way he was ever going to get on Killer's good side was co-operating with him, rather than trying to argue. He lowered himself to a sitting position, slowly wagging his tail as a positive gesture. "So, how's life treating you at the moment?" He asked, ears pricked upwards, ready to listen to what the other wolf had to say in response.

He was amused as the wolf seemed to have a change in motion hoping to what gain a respect from him self? "Like life, I mean Its boring and betting even more so as the pack grows father apart. I miss the blood and war..." He shrugged. "whats your take on life?"

Scare smiled slightly, wagging his tail slowly as he replied, "Pretty much the same as yourself," He continued, "All I really do these days is hunt and occasionally talk to someone... It's at times like this I kind of wish for fights."

He chuckled. Same as my own eh. "Very true it's when things become a constant pattern that a good fight is needed." He agreed with scare. "Actually what would you say if we did something about this bordum?"

Scare gave a playful smirk when Killer introduced the idea of doing something about their boredom, "Depends. What were you planning on doing?"

"Anything that evolves blood and fun" he smiled tilted his head to the right as if leaving a question for Scare."You in?" he stood up with a stiff motion. "I'll even let you choose what it is we end up doing."

Scare's slightly tufted ears pricked up as he smiled, "Well, hunting gets boring after a while so we can either go fight some omegas," He continued, "Or we could spar... As long as you go easy on me," He smirked, half teasing.

He wasn't to fond of messing with wolves whom faught bout as good as rabbits. A spar however would be lovely. He gave a small smirk."Sparing would be very nice." He rolled his shoulders, in preperation. "Where is the fun in holding back?"

-I'm sorry for the lateness <3-
Scare smirked back at Killer, stepping backwards into a temporary defence position. He wagged his tail slowly as he spoke, "The fun in holding back is both of us staying alive," He chuckled, getting ready to start the spar.

His eyes twinkled at the word of being alive. Was it fun to be alive? was it worth it? He shifted into an aggressive stance. Taking the hint that he would most likely be advancing most of this fight. With a small smile he added, "Would you rather die of age, than at the sport you love?" With that he lowered him self and struck forward. Aiming a fake attack to Scares left shoulder and rounding with much earned and practiced skill a heavily blow for his Right Flank.

The pup was padding through the forest, keeping low as possible and using the greys and reds of her pelt to her advantage. She was rather small for a wolf, but obviously for her age, that was to be expected. A noise made her jump, but curiousity drew her toward the scene, which she observed from behind a tree trunk, staring with wide blue-green eyes. Her ear twitched and she considered interrupting them to ask if they had seen her mother. In fact, she was just about to when a bird squawked at her sudden movement, making it obvious that she was there and completely blowing her cover.
