Crow did not know how she should carry the egg as well as the finch.
She tucked the finch under her chin which left her jaws free to carry the pretty colored egg. Crow's stomach rumbled. "Let's go then." She could barely pronounce the words since there was something breakable in her jaws.

Joey nodded silently, looking at the two fragile objects that he had to carry with confusion at how it would be done. He guessed that he could do the sane as Crow, but he knew that one would get crushed. Maybe there was something around that he could use to carry them both. Probably not.
He tilted his head a little before taking one gently within his jaws and attempting to roll the other.

Crow began to follow her brother.
She did not try to speak, the black feline did not want to. Crow tried to not break the pretty colored egg in her jaws. It would not be worth anything if it was cracked or broken.

Joey looked in the direction of his hideout with blue and golden eyes. Thankfully, the small area was pretty close to the area that they were in currently. The young cat let out a small grumble before trying to roll the object in the direction that he was looking in as fast as he could.
